The food is amazing. The green curry dumplings and the snapper with mango are simply delicious. Enjoy!

“Great Thai food in Bo Phut”
Reviewed July 14, 2013

Don't let the decor put you off (leopard skin and sequins!!!) - this restaurant in the main street of Bo Phut (not the Fishermans Village) has great Thai food and service at a good price.

“Really friendly cafe”
Reviewed July 13, 2013 via mobile

Took the kids for dinner at Cafe 69. Owner and chef very friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Food is very good and spiced how you want it. Only problem - it's right on a busy road but well worth a visit.

“Fabulous find!”
Reviewed July 13, 2013

Just got back from cafe 69 after a recommendation from one of the other hotel guests.
This place is amazing, it's on a busy street and you could easily walk past it, however once inside its decor is camp and bling. Vivien, the owner, came out to introduce himself and explain the specials. Not as cheap as some of the other Thai restaurants in the area but would be a fine dining restaurant if it was in Bangkok/London etc. Amazing food and would definitely recommend. Try the duck masaman curry, out of this world.

“Great food and lots of laughs!”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

When traveling companions found the great reviews of Cafe 69 we thought it just had to be worth a visit if only for the novelty value. While located on a busy road behind the Fisherman' Village area, once you step inside that's all forgotten. The decor is pure bling, which starts the laughs. Owner Vivian came out for a talk and he is certainly passionate about his cafe and food. We ate from the specials board and everything was superb, and beautifully presented. Papaya salad with soft shell crab rolled was a visual feast as well as tasty! Soft shell crab, prawn won tons with tom tom sauce, chicken curry dumplings and lots more. The Angry Monkey mocktail was not too upsetting :). Make the effort, it's worth the visit.
