Our experience was nothing less than terrible. The 'fresh' mango juice was from a tin of concentrate - this was returned but I was informed that fresh mango juice normally comes from a tin. The soda with lime was soda with some kind of lemon concentrate in (think Jif Lemon) and was undrinkable. I should have refrained from ordering food at this point.....
We ordered English Roast dinner, 1 x Lamb and 2 x Beef. The food arrived cold, the gravy cold and tasteless and the mint sauce for the lamb was just a bowl of vinegar with a couple of pieces of chopped mint in - I was told that this is their style of gravy and mint sauce - I wanted the traditional English style that would be expected. The mint sauce would have been fine for fish and chips but not a roast dinner. The vegetables were undercooked and hard, the meat overcooked and dry. We had to leave most of the food and the manager disappeared and sent different staff to serve us as she could not deal with our complaint.
I have eaten in this restaurant several years ago and the food has definitely gone downhill since then. It is overpriced (nearly double for the same meal in other establishments) and the staff seem generally unhappy.
You are definitely paying for the great view at this restaurant and not the quality of food or service with a smile.
