Description: Tamarina Bistro&Bar is a Thai fusion seafood spot boating one of the best sunset view on Samui island. We value the art of traditional Thai cooking in combination with locally sourced seafood and a twist of Italian influence. Come relax and unwind under our ocean front Tamarind tree, we are ready to serve you!

Visited The BBC several times and were always happy there. For Chrismas we started looking for somewhere special to have our lunch, researched some very nice restaurants that had obscene prices and finally chose The BBC! Reasonable price, under 1000baht and were delighted with the wonderful buffet - there was a choice of Thai and European, the traditional roast and veggies were there but also lots of fish, seafood and Tom Yum soup, samosas and spring rolls for starters. Lovely fresh salads and fruit were also available and for dessert home made Apple Pie with either ice cream or custard. My choice was - Tom Yum soup, prawns, samosas then followed roast lamb, roast potatoes, mint sauce, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, parsnips, sprouts, yorkshire puds and gravy finished off by apple pie and custard................yummy! Staff very attentive and Mark the owner made us so welcome (Tx's Mark) will be there next Christmas...........

BBC is a popular place in Koh Samui; near the Big Buddha and facing West with open Sunset view, it is surely a restaurant to visit.

The food is good, they have ample drinks selection, the staff is local, very kind and smiley, the bill fair and the whole experience makes everybody happy !

BBC is located very close to the Big Buddha Statue / temple and easy to find. If you can get to the statue, (which is easy as everyone knows it and finding your way should not be a issue) then you cannot miss BBC. The place is very simply done up yet elegant. An ideal place to have a quiet meal. The first thing tht catches your eye is the first page of the menu card which in a nice funny way coveys the problem of staff attrition leading to service delays. I thought that was quite intelligent. The food is good and there is adequate variety across Thai, Conti and Italian cuisines. Decently priced too. I managed to land up at BBC at about 530 in the evening and was able to catch the beautiful sunset. Myriad colours and ever changing canvas of the sky made the overall experience a very pleasant one. Thumbs up to BBC. And yes, service definitely seems to have improved from the previous posts.

Had a nice dinner here and liked the place. Location on main bangkak road but with lovely views and a small beach from which to watch the sunset. Varied Thai and western menu of which we tried a variety of Thai food. All was good solid food if not spectacular but decent value and very pleasant. Nice place for an early dinner.Service was good too and seemed to have improved from earlier posts.

location is good but our taxi driver was not confident in finding the place. I think they need a big sign at the front.

the food was good and not expensive.
service was very good and freindly.
