Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights at the end of june. Where do i start with this place?? the overall experiance staying at this hotel was just amazing.

Check in -
We emailed the day before and they picked us up from the ferry in a lovely airconned car, free of charge! when we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by smiley faced employees with a cool towel and ice cold drink for us both.

Love room 132 -
Unbelievable!!!!
the balacany was huge with two sun beds on for relaxing and a jacuzzi bath which was lovely to cool off in and chill out + the view was amazing/ The bed was massive with a gong behind it which i liked to hit as hard as i could each morning :) the tv had a lot of built in music and films, along with free internet + wifi, and the added bonus of free international calls which i have never heard of in any hotel before.

The pool -
the infinity was the best i have ever seen with views you only see on post cards!! free towels to use with lots of sun beds which we never had a problem finding one what ever time we went to the pool. it also has a swim up bar which is always nice!!

The food -
The breakfast was great, you could order all different eggs and then the rest was buffet style, u could also order freshly made coffee which were top notch.
we had dinner in the restaurant every night and everything that we had was to die for!!
For lunch we would order room service and eat on our giant balacany, they didnt charge you any extra for room service so you pay the same as in the restaurant!!

Everything in the hotel was always spotless and every little detail had been carefully planned! and the hills are not as bad as everyone makes out, but if you are feeling lazy you can just hop on one of the golf buggies that the staff use to cart you around.
Hope to go back in the near future!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room Tip: stay in a love room for the jacuzzi on the balacany, you wont want to leave the room!!!

We stayed here for 6 nights last week. The staff here were amazing and could not do enough for us.
As most people put on here the location is a bit out of the way with many steap hills. In saying this we made the buses work for us and they were always on time going to and from the resort.

On discussions with a few other guests it is probably not quite 5 star. The bathroom floor had white marks everywhere on the floor(not sure if this was soap scum or it just needed a fresh paint), the towels were quite old we had one that had a hole in it, the air con leaked water a bit and the privacy screen around our outdoor tub was mouldy.

The bed was quite comfy and the room size was pretty good.

The breakfasts were quite nice and the staff were always there to help you with requests. The coffee was actually pretty good and was barista made every morning.

Overall it was a nice place to stay but not quite 5 star. If u go there expecting 4 star you will have a great time.

We purchased our stay from Deals.com and found this resort to be beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The breakfasts were plentiful and tasted great, the one restaurant was great and they had a BBQ evening and Thai night which we also found wonderful. Staff were friendly, rooms were fantastic and we loved Bophut. The beach, once we found it was lovely - you have to walk from the main road down a street and thru another resort to get to it but there was nobody on the beach and the water was lovely. The shuttle bus just dropped us off and we arranged for pickup so we didn't have to hike back up the hill. Would definately recommend this resort to those of you that like peace and quite - the shuttle can take you into Chaweng and Bophut - for shopping and any action u might want.

Six nights in Heaven at Mantra. We had a wonderful stay in June 2013, choosing some days to just relax by the pool, take the free daily yoga class and feel healthy and indulgent at the same time! Sometimes we ate at Mantra and sometimes we took the free shuttle down to fishermans Village at 8pm, wandered the night markets and ate on the beach returning on the late shuttle at 10.50pm. Nothing was too much for the staff, they were always attentive and often anticipate our needs ahead. The views are stunning! We are already planning our return!! If you are thinking health resort, adventure, romantic, family or pure indulgence, Mantra is perfectly placed...and with the added bonus of a whole fantastic island to explore and the Thai culture to fully emerse yourself in!!

We were two families staying in two Cozy Rooms with 2 adults and 2 kids on a deals voucher for 6 nights. Right from the time we got picked up at the airport to when we flew out, everything went smoothly. The checkin was easy, all our discount vouchers were ready, and the staff provided free dinner for all 8 of us, not just two adults. The location is great up in the hillside looking out to sea. The rooms are very spacious, and easily fit a rollaway bed. The bathroom is spectacular - very traditional. The staff are very attentive and it is easy to see why, when the manager Robert makes a special effort to greet and talk to guests every morning at breakfast. We all had a wonderful time and throughly enjoyed our staff. We were after a relaxing holiday and that is exactly what we got. Thankyou.

Room Tip: Cozy rooms are sufficient for 2 adults and 2 kids and overlook the pool.

We spent two weeks at the Mantra and we were looked after in every way imaginable. We were upgraded to a spectacular room on arrival and the friendly mantra staff furnished every need and desire that my partner and I had for the entire time that we were there. The resort is beautiful and so is the food, service and setting. They even gifted me with a free one hour massage at the Mantra spa for my birthday!

Thank you, Mantra, for a fantastic holiday.

Room Tip: The WOW rooms seem to have the most privacy, as other lower rooms are sometimes visable from the poo...

We stayed at the mantra samui for 8 nights in a love room and came as a large group taking 4 rooms.
The hotel itself is on a very large hill and is quite far from the centre of town but there are many free shuttles during the day taking you to the main areas, though, more shuttles at night would better suite most people since there is a 2 or 3 hour gap in between and having to pay for a taxi is the only other option.

Our rooms were at the base of the hill and getting to the pool and restaurant is a struggle if you aren't very fit since it's very steep, but there are golf buggies constantly driving up and down the hill and are willing to take people to the top when needed or called.

Our room itself was always very clean and put together, it was spacious and large, room enough for more then 2 people. The only thing would be that the base around the bed just gets in the way and has very sharp corners and those hanging lights next to the bed really got in the way and were very loud if bumped or banged, which happened on many occasions but other then that it's very clean and the shower is great.

All the staff are very welcoming and got to know us all quite quickly, they are efficient but did on 3 or 4 occasions get the order wrong, but that may be due to communication issues since we do talk a little fast.
The food is absolutely amazing and the pancakes are to die for, it comes out within 20 minutes of the order and is most definitely enjoyed.

The size of the pool is perfect and the view is amazing, though, you have to fight for a spot with shade since the umbrellas can't be moved and only cover certain parts of the sun lounges.

The spa is absolutely the best, it has amazing staff, best warming feel and the to die for massages and body scrubs. It isn't to expensive and is worth a look at.

The reception staff are wonderful and always there to help, our toilet broke, tv stopped working and we had a smashed glass but the staff were up the room in minutes and fixed it all straight away so that wasn't much of a worry.

The manager Robert is a wonderful guy and he really gets to know everyone, he is around the hotel almost most of the day and he is always there to help and fix anything needing to be fixed or concerns sorted.
He really knows how to run a hotel.

All in all we exceeded in luxury and relaxation then what we paid for and would go back any day.
I think being asked to put a review on trip advisor is a great idea because this hotel needs to be recognised for what it is and I believe it offers a lot for everyone.

Thankyou for the stay mantra!
