Mantra Samui Resort is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. We had 2 nights in "Cozy Mantra Superior" room. There was 3 large rooms 2 with kingsize beds and a lounge. The lounge had TV with computer and free Wi-Fi Access. The rooms were fully air conditioned and everything imaginable was provided for our comfort with some nice little extra homely touches (teddy bear on bed!). The views were amazing looking over a going to the edge type of swimming pool with a backdrop of the ocean and islands. We were right on top of the hill. Gym and squash impressive. Food and service excellent and staff friendly and helpful. The Manager has a sexy butt! Thanks Mantra Jan.

My daughter and I recently spent six wonderful nights at this resort. From the moment that we were met at the airport the service was exceptional. All the staff were friendly and ready to assist. Our room was at the top of the resort and the view was spectacular. Breakfast in the restaurant was always good. Shuttle service to Chaweng is great and always ran on time.

Room Tip: Any travellers with mobility problems should ensure that they get a room on one of the lower levels...

Hi,

I had my recent stays with my husband in Mantra Samui Boutique Resort for 4D/3N.

Mantra is a wonderful place to chill-out yet with a nice seaview from our room - WOW 342.

When we arrived, we did have a felling of "Wow" because we do not expect such nice resort up the hill yet make us feel like we have reach "heaven" with such an amazing breathtaking scenery over the sea, beautiful resort, delicious foods and friendly & helpful staffs.

Eventhough, we not able to see any sunrise or sunset from the resort. But we do enjoy the peaceful feeling that Mantra bought to us.

Mantra also provides shuttle van to Chaweng & Fisherman Village with the allocated shedule. In room, we can even make free calls (international & local) or cook anytime as we like. They also provides other facilities such as Free Play Room with Pool Table, Wii Station & scrabble, Movie Theater, Spa, Child Play room with child care services (Chargeble), 24hrs Fitness Centre (Free laundry of 3pcs gym wear), 24hrs Swimming Pool, Free Yoga classes as pre schedule, Free cooking class as per schedule, and etc.

To me, Mantra is really a nice place to relax & chill-out.

We definetly will go back again!

Overall this place was easily the best accommodation I've ever stayed in. Situated quite literally on top of a mountain, we had 7 nights here and loved every minute of it!

The views, luxury rooms and friendly staff make staying at the Mantra a joy and I would definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway or for anyone after a fantastic stay. They even made it comfy when the power went out for two days!

We stayed in room 163 which is highly recommended ;unfortunately weather was not very good for the last 2 weeks in November as it rained on most days . Experience with the breakfast staff & getting a cup of coffee / tea was painful, they need the waitress with jeweled tooth brace back to keep everyone in control.Staff extremely helpful with buggy carts for lifts around site .Excellent facility for hire of scooter from Mantra on site for 10 days (£60.00 ) & only cost £9.00 in fuel for 50kms- please note there was no insurance - well worth the money savings on transport. The pool views were excellent.Unfortunately the steam room was usually out of action which should have been fixed within the 2 weeks we were there.Laundry down the hill recommended as a fraction of site cost.Beach to visit Silver Beach excellent.Shuttle facility good asset.Diving with Easy divers was Ok - Dive instructors helpful.Unfortunately dive sites changed due to weather conditions.Reception staff were very attentive.Manager introduced herself & wanted to know of any issue which troubled you a very true honest gesture which is showing they are always looking to improve .We can not emphasise that without the use of the scooter we would have gone stir crazy due to weather.Dining at Chaweng most nights for good value (£20/couple including a couple of beers )Overall a lovely hotel to stay.

Room Tip: Room 163 close to top of hill & restaurant - good views & jacussi bean bag on balcony - set...

I chose this resort based on the reviews here and so it's my time to give back some. I had an enjoyable 3 days-holiday over there. Staffs are friendly and helpful. There was something stuck in the faucet of my WOW room at my arrival. I notified the lobby and technicians were soon sent to fix it. Breakfasts were delicious and of plenty of choices. Coffee full of aroma should not be missed at breakfast and could be re-ordered as you want. I also had thai food dinner buffet over there on the weekday and the buffet didn't disappoint me.
The views from each balcony of the room should have sea view.
Plus, it was also very lovely of them to remember and mentioned in the thanks card for my daily pancake orders in my breakfasts.
In all, I will strongly recommend this resort and give priority to this hotel when re-visiting Samui.

Stayed there abt 3 months ago, at the end Sept 2012, for total 3 days.
