Description: Le Jaroen at The Scent Hotel is a “…A Secret World…” in itself. Housed in a chic colonial boutique hotel the restaurant was created to be the most romantic on this beautiful island. Located 5 minutes from Fisherman’s Village, Le Jaroen offers sublime French-Mediterranean Cuisine with classic and contemporary influences. Breathtaking views, exquisite cuisine and wonderful wines – An evening at Le Jaroen will be your most memorable on Samui. Our peaceful beach is the perfect location private dinner on the beach.

I visit Koh Samui two-three times per year and always try to make sure that I visit this place for at least one lunch and dinner experience on each trip. The location is a bit difficult to find as, from the outside, this looks like a fairly non-descript building...while inside, prepare to be surprised by the tranquil and quiet setting overlooking a nice stretch of waterfront.

The food is simply great -- the blend of French with South-East's spices leads to some amazingly delicious combinations. My personal favorites are the steak and Yum Talay.

Dear Mike,

Thank you for taking your time to share your experience with us.
Le Jaroen offers sublime cuisines combining " Indo-Chine" influences with a very French cooking technique using mostly Thai ingredients . Know as ' ... a secret world..."
As our concept If you look from out side you can't tell it has a wonderful restaurant inside.
and also under flagshipof the famous Relais & Chateaux, thsi venue would provide you the best of everthing from the cuisines to the wines, exhillarating views to a romantic spot, a casual or a formal dining pleasure that will not be forgotten!..

Looking forward for your next visit.

Kind regards,
Mayuree

The creative and perfectly executed food, attentive service and beautifuly lit beach really is a great package!
The Chef, K.Som is friendly and very passionate about food...

This place deserves to be visited by every tourist on Samui who knows good food.

We benefit of the samuifinediningfestival. The dinner was perfect maybe too "west flavour" but the only remark. The service is attentive, the chief too. Located in a small and atypic hotel, along the beach. If you have the occasion go for it

To go or not to go, that was the questions. Not many good experiences with Thai restaurants cooking Western food. But you don't become a partner of Relais & Chateaux just like that. And.....we never regret it for a second. Every single course we ordered was lovely. A fantastic (chilled) glass of red wine (Merlot Art, 2008 - Salomon Estate), friendly staff, more incredible food to come after our entree (foie gras with mango, melted on your tongue!) and just a perfect night out. The only thing I regret was that we did not come an hour earlier to enjoy the view. But be sure to expect great quality and the prices are high but it is definitely worth is.

The hotel staff were attentive and friendly; made every moment enjoyable in the peaceful beautiful surrounding of the hotel
Do get the breakfast included with your stay as it is ala carte and the food is fresh and gorgeous; and do not forget the poolside pina colada - a little pricey but worth the treat
