We stayed at this hotel for the second in Febuary this year and we enjoyed it as much as we did the first time. All of the staff are polite, friendly and keen to help anyway they can. Everyday whilst around the pool or on the beach the staff of the beach bar would come around to inform everyone that happy hour had started and collected people's food and drinks orders, we felt this was a really nice touch. All of the communal areas are well maintained and the rooms are fantastic, all with sea views! This hotel is ideally located for Fisherman's Village and all of the bars and restaurants it has to offer. We will definitely stay at this hotel again!

This hotel is stunning. I would say the best in bophut. The staff are extremely helpful, especially Chat, at the poolside bar. The food, next to amazing, and the accommodation was perfect. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The only thing that I would fix would be the light switches in the room, because hate we're too many, perhaps having one master switch. Other than that, highly recommended.

Room Tip: The best style room are the ones in the middle facing the pool.

We had a very pleasant stay at Hansar Samui. It's conveniently located near the Fishermem's Village and close to may restaurants and shops. Definitely would stay at this hotel again if travel to Samui again in the future.

Had 9 days in Bophut before moving on to Bangkok.
The Hansar is a lovely hotel! Quiet, not too big, right on the beach, handy for bars and restaurants, cool beach bar and a fabulous pool! The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Thai people are lovely anyway, but the hotel staff are extra nice.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Room Tip: We were on 3rd floor - lovely and peaceful and super view - our baggage was delivered and collected...

The resort is located at Bophut area and near to Fisherman Village (mini Chaweng within 2min walking distance). Most of the rooms are facing the beach and they are just very near to the beach. Nice

view of the beach/sea from the pool or your room.

We chosed the 4d3n rejuvenation package which was worth the money are we got to experience the romantic dining under the stars, spa lunch, couple massage and refreshing signature welcome drink. We

got to taste whats best of Hansar with this inclusive package. We requested early check-in and was granted upon arrival eventhough we can't get the middle top floor which has the nicest view. The

service is generally good and staff is friendly through out our stay.

The seaview XL room which we checked into is nice with a romantic king-sized four posters bed. You only get that in an XL room. The bed is sooo comfortable that it was among the best we slept

before. Why? The bed is soft and with a layer of featherbed for extra comfort. You have to sleep on it to believe. And did I miss something? Yes, you got 4 large down pillows and down quilt to

snuggle with for the perfect night sleep. The patio is large with day bed to lounge and 2 rocking chairs.

The bathroom is rather unique and designed for couples. The bathtub is separated from the shower area (rain shower). The shower area is an open concept without door and semi-transparent view from

the bed. What we dislike most is the low water pressure and dirty water. The very 1st shower was dissapointing with low water pressure and I didn't get the hot water. Due to low pressure, the rain

shower didn't work at all and I have to use the handheld shower. I was shivering during shower. Complained to the front desk and it seem to got it fixed the evening we returned to the room. The

next day we experienced the same problem and throughout our stay. What a waste booking the XL room (with bathtub) with 40% higher room rate and we can't use the bathtub at all as it has no water! A

good shower is always vital for us.

The restaurants at Hansar score big in the food department. The spa lunch is healthy and delicious with tea pairing. Breakfast is good with average selections and but with good choices of fruits.

You just have to try the romantic dining under the stars with delicious western set menu.

LUXSA spa is great way to get pampered. We got a great 90min couple massage and its highly recommended. The masseuse has great and smooth techniques with perfect pressure.

We enjoyed our romantic stay and felt rejunevated. Its recommended for couples. We decided its just short of excellent due to the low water pressure issue.

Room Tip: Seaview XL room is a must for romantic stay with bathtub in the room and romantic 4 posters bed. The...

We have travelled all over Asia including 5 and 6 star resorts and this was the best experience so far! Why?
1. A nice size hotel. Low rise (3 storeys) designed around a central area of neat lawns, flowers, a gorgeous infinity pool and a chilled beach/pool bar. Along a nice stretch of beach. None of this golf buggy nonesense just to get to breakfast and no huge, impersonal buffet areas. Ours was probably the furthest room from the restaurant - yet just a 3 minute stroll through the garden. The infinity pool area never got too busy.

2. The room and overall ambience. We were in room 3203 which is 'beachside'. It was on the 2nd floor (top floor) and has stunning views over and along the beach and out to sea. Agree that if you want a view, request 1st or 2nd but ground floor is not too shabby either! The rooms really have a zen like quality. Lovely rich, natural wood flooring and furniture. A free standing huge bath in the middle of the room positioned on a bed of pebbles. A seperate, huge rain shower. And an ample balcony with a long bench seat you can lay down on and 2 rocking chairs! The beds were seriously sumptous!

3. Location. 10-15 minutes from airport without ANY aircraft noise at the hotel as the flight path is a different direction. This is a big positive as there is no wasted time on a long stressful road journey after the flight. The beach was a 5 metre walk from the pool! Watersports, massage, coffee bars, etc were plentiful along the beach. Turn the other way (right) and you are immediately into Fisherman's Village which is a pleasant, narrow road of beach-side restaurants, bars and shops. This was great because it meant we could get out of the hotel every night to try a different dining option every night! We did not have one mediocore meal. All were above average.

4. Breakfast was in a beatifully designed 1st floor open plan restaurant with views out to sea and all open 'walls', creating a very airy and fresh ambience from the sea. A tidy breakfast buffet was a perfect start to the day - very fresh fruits, yoghurts, breads. Perfectly cooked eggs and bacon was ordered as table service so no egg station to stand around and wait - another big positive for us.

5. The staff. The beach bar was perfect. We have never had such wonderful, friendly service. Very special mention of Parn, Chat, Pat, One, San, Dom and Dean. Also Tiger at breakfast and the lovely pregnant lady. Their cocktails and recommendations were all spot on!

Parn was adorable. So very charming and funny, although I think they spoke in Thai that we were a bit Ting Tong!! We all had a good laugh and they came in on their day off to say goodbye!

Overall, a 5 star experience in a 4 star hotel. Would highly recommend for couples, families with older children or very young (maybe not enough facilities for your average 4 - 10 year olds).

Go for it!

Room Tip: 2nd or 3rd floor probably have the best views as the grond floor will be obscured by the flowers, po...
