We had plan to go somewhere else but decided to dine here because it looked so romantic. The main dining room was in traditional Thai architecture mixed with colonial touches, but we chose the seating on the sandy beach with softly lit palm trees all around us.
The food was good, although not the best (see my other review). We had spring roll (o.k.; my hubby wanted it), papaya salad (great), duck curry (not bad, a little heavy), and fish with lime & chili sauce (amazing.) The staff were friendly & attentive. The patience of the staff was truly tested when my fellow American from the next table asked some embarrassing rude questions and the staff passed with flying color.
