I have just spent the most enjoyable and relaxing few days at the Samui Pier Resort. It is homely, spotless, the staff are incrediby friendly the food outstanding and it is just such incredible value for money.

It is not over run with noisy tourists very tranquil and very comfortable. The entire resort has been recently refurbished is sparkling clean and new. The owners can't do enough to make you feel at home.

The restaurant has a huge menu with a great selection all beautifully presented at ridiculously affordable prices. Th cocktail selection is great and are delicious as well !

There is aso a great massage service available on property at phenomonally cheap prices !

Well located to get out to the islands from the regular ferry departures from the piers on each side of the property and 5 mins from the airport.

Samui Pier Resort really is a home away from home and a piece of paradise - Can't wait to go back !!

We stayed at the Samui Pier Resort for 4 nights at the end of a 3 week holiday travelling through Southern Thailand. This was just what we needed for a good rest before returning home. Although the Resort is by no means 5 star the location certainly is. The owner Yaniv introduced himself to us and emphasised that we should let him know if there was anything he could do to assist. He stopped to chat each time he saw us and was very friendly without being intrusive. Our little villa was on the beach about 5 steps from the water and we just sat on our terrace and watched the world go by - it was heaven. The room was quite basic, clean as a whistle and had everything we needed. The resort is situated between 2 piers and there was lots of activity during the day which was very interesting to watch. The restaurant was well priced and the food very good. Breakfast was not included in the rate but only cost from 100bht at the restaurant. All of the staff were friendly and courteous. There were swing chairs and hammocks in the grounds and little thatched structures containing a table and lounge mattresses with pillows and all of them had uninterrupted views of the sea. There is a pool which although not huge was certainly sufficient for our needs. There are plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. Transport was provided at a nominal cost to the airport at the end of our stay. Thank you to Yaniv and all his staff for a very enjoyable stay.

We stayed at Samui Pier for 4 nights and our overall experience was good.
The views from the resort are impressive, opening onto Bophut beach, however the two Pier's on either side do spoil the view a little.
The location is good, its about 15 mins away from Chaweng beach which is where most of the evening/night activity takes place. Conveniently there is a motorbike hire, tour operator, mini market and a few bars/restaurats opposite the resort.
It also about 5 mins from the big buddah.
The staff are friendly and are always available if you need any help.
The rooms themselves are fairly basic but are clean and air conditioned, however for the amount you pay for this place its expected.

If I were in Samui again, I would certainly consider staying here again.

We stayed at Samui Pier Resort for two days, just passing on our way to Koh Phangan and found this place to be an excellent stay for our short visit.
It is a bit pricey for it to get a higher ranking from us, but the staff working here made it all worth it. We travel with our 17 month old baby and he really loved it here, with the garden, the swings and the super-friendly staff who played with him all the time and therefore his parents could eat their fantastic thai food in peace.
The beach is between two piers ( as the name suggests ) and because of that- its not so nice. The location itself is between the airport and Bohput, so you have to take a taxi to get around. For a short stay I would definItely recommend this place. The food was very very good ( the breakfast mediocre though)

We stayed here for 3 nights and had the absolute beachfront room. Rooms are pretty Spartan but the view more than made up for it.

Rooms were cleaned every day and free water replenished which was most welcome.

I loved the huge and comfy and stylish hammocks.

Food was ok. My mum ordered a ham and cheese and tomato sandwhich with chips on our last night at about 9pm, just as chef was wanting to leave. He begrudgingly made them. However food was inedible. Frozen chips were half cooked!!!!! Sandwhich was missing cheese and tomato was green! Not acceptable at almost 200 baht!

I understand the resort was quiet and staff had been there all day, but as a chef myself I would never send out food that was inedible. Maybe the solution would have been to day the kitchen was closed rather than send out expensive unaccetable food

apart from that we had a very nice stay here and is extremely handy for the ferry to haad rin
