We read all the reviews before our trip and were a bit apprehensive, they were pretty much spot on the money though! The resort has the potential to be a beautiful place, but needs some serious upgrades to bring it up to speed. My partner and I stayed as did several of our friends and we all had similar issues at one point or another. No hot water, no water at all, aircon issues, the railings on all the balconies/stairs are rotted and brittle as is some of the decking so needed to be really careful there. The food at the restaurant was quite expensive and pretty average, better off going down the road and getting a traditional Thai meal for just a few dollars! The staff were all very friendly, could have done without the timeshare propositions though, kind of annoying to deal with on holidays, although I'm sure it's a great thing for some people. All in all, we enjoyed our stay there, but probably wouldn't stay there again unless there were some significant upgrades.

Room Tip: Friends of ours had a private pool villa which seemed much nicer than our regular room.

What a location just a pitty about the neglect. On arrival the fish pond really stunk, and it was not cleaned for our entire stay. The room appeared all good until you start finding all the broken stuff, tap in bathroom broken, toilet broke, I had to fix it three time, etc

The positives are the staff and the location

We booked a package deal with Q Signature through Scoopon. The deal seemed too good to be true, and what do they always say. We booked three months in advance, paying extra to upgrade to a private pool villa, and even confirmed our booking the week before. Upon arrival it took some time before a "manager" advised us that the resort was fully booked out and they could not accomodate us. They did however offer to transfer us to their newer sister resort down the road. Being a newer resort I though this might be OK, however the sister resort had no facilities such as restaurant, bar, shared pool and was basically a bunch of time share villas. After expressing my dissatisfaction with the arrangements an english speaking gentleman called Peter called to apologise, and offered to take us to a cocktail party. Things went from bad to worse from here. It turns out the cocktail party was just a sales pitch selling timeshare at the resort. The food was terrible, and the atmosphere worse when everyone realised they'd been scamed into a timeshare sales pitch. I immediately asked to either get my booked and confirmed room, or we'd cancel. The manager was kind enough to offer us a refund, however over a month later I am still waiting for said refund. There are many resorts around the area that are far better than Q Signature for the same price. I personally could not have had a worse exerience with Q Signature and still wait to see if they honour their refund commitment.

Be warned, if you stay at this resort through a deal such as Scoopon, etc you will be pushed and harassed by timeshare salespeople. Peter kept popping his head up everywhere and we just could not escape him or enjoy our holiday for the one day that we put up with this.

Worst Resort experience, go elsewhere as these people won't honour your booking or their promises! You've been warned.

We went to Koh Samui for a few days before a family member's wedding in Bangkok and it was the most wonderful part of our trip. Our room had gorgeous views, a shared, but secluded pool and a quiet beach. I loved that the resort was quiet and peaceful but provided a free shuttle to the main strip and all the action under 10 minutes away. The food was typical resort fare but staff were lovely and there was a small show our first night. Spa treatments were affordable yet luxurious. My only regret is that I was 11 weeks pregnant so couldn't partake in cocktails! I highly recommend the resort's value for money and would gladly come and stay again.

We stayed for 7 nights via a voucher for $200, in a pool villa which was absolutely lovely but a bit dated and needs maintenance but was spacious. Also had an outside shower which was different and nice. Had great views from our room, was quiet and was lovely to sit out on the rocking chairs looking out to the sea every day and drinking beer. Loved the private pool though for some days out of action due to cleaning but was nice to have access to this. The staff were amazing from August, Dao, Tito & Anne in reception, Alain and Aom in restaurant, housekeeping and the bar staff. It had amazing views from reception and very quaint Thai architecture but light and airy. The hotel is in an amazing location on top of a cliff. We were lucky our room was next to the lobby so need for buggies. Whenever we had problems the staff were ever so obliging and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The food is average but we only ate at the Royal Siam but service was wonderful. The ac in bedroom didn't work the last 3 nights and had some ants in the room. It was a short walk to the beach and a bit of a long walk into the main drag and on Wed nights there are night markets which was great. Don't miss going to the Fisherman's market on Fri nights. We also bought the meal package inc the spa which was worthwhile. Also the massages that were included were amazing. We also used the table tennis and pool table but the last day we were there, they suddenly charged to use the pool table which was strange since these facilities should be free for guests. I would say it is a 3 star hotel. I also loved the flowers that were all over the hotel, the presentation was beautiful. Also liked the fact that internet when working was free. Overall we enjoyed our week which was restful, relaxing and was a lovely holiday and would recommend this stay. Brinda & Peter, Sydney

Room Tip: We stayed in Rm 201 in a pool villa next to the lobby which i would recommend.

we stayed in a private pool villa for 5 days, was so relaxing, even though a bit dated and in need of maintenance, we felt it was great value for money and a beautiful spot. Breakfast was great and all of the staff most helpful. would definitely recommend it! Great area with some fantastic small restaurants in the area only a short walk from our resort. we hired a motor scooter and saw a lot of the island cheaply, great way to go if you can.

Beautiful resort, beautiful location.
Rooms are amazing, nice pools and really close to a nice beach Choeng Mon, my favorite beach on Samui!!!
The room was too dark, not enough lighting and the bathroom floods after every shower due to poor shower design and our room service plates were taken from room and left outside door for 5 days. Sheets didnt get changed once while we were there for 6 nights.
But definitely a great place to stay!!!

Room Tip: Try to ask for one not too far from lobby because it is very large resort and very VERY hilly!
