We stayed at the six senses resort and visited the dining on the rocks restaurant during our stay.
The setting of the restaurant is beautiful, the tables are not crowded together so everyone can enjoy the surroundings, although I would book in advance if you want a table near the edge of the platforms.
We opted for the 10 course taster menu with accompanying wines and it turned out to be one of the best meals we have ever had. Every course was well thought out and perfectly presented. The way the menu is ‘deconstructed’ from everyday meals really makes it interesting. The wines were well suited, especially enjoyed the Rioja.
Yes its not a cheap eat but compared to what you would pay for the equivalent in London I think its very good value. You can also go and eat from the a la carte if the taster menu isn’t to your liking.
Overall one of the highlights of out Koh Samui trip
