A beautiful family hotel, was perfect for my 3 kids ages at the time 3, 6 and 9, they absolutely enjoyed the animals on the venue and the bunnies running around on the grass, the kids club had nice outdoors activities and excursions, we have also taken advantage of the adults excursions organized and guided by the owners themselves, very friendly and pleasant people, we have absolutely enjoyed every moment of our stay .

We stayed here the week after Christmas with the whole family. The hotel is very close to the Racines ski site and there are shuttles going back and forth all day. It's a family owned hotel and you can feel it in the friendly atmosphere, in the attention to details, and in the thought given to the children in this place. Both breakfast and dinner (with menu changing every day, are fresh, rich, and very very good. We had a great vacation here !!

The good:
Large collection of mountain bikes to borrow.
Good breakfast selection as you'd expect anywhere in the Alps.
Super friendly waiter.
Swimming pool access also included in the price.

The bad:
Extremely expensive (EUR 400 per night for 2 adults & 2 children).
It's a big hotel at the bottom of the valley. You can get a much better view at a much cheaper price, further up the valley in a cosier hotel. (at say Hotel Bergblick or Berghotel). All of them score extremely high on Tripadvisor too.
Dinner is too fancy: stuff like duck breast, piglet's neck, as opposed to traditional fair.
The children's activities aren't worth it at all. Not enough effort was put in to occupy children properly. The pony riding was literally 2 minutes, once around a paddock.

Room Tip: If you're 6'2" or more, the beds are too short. Really.

Dear Mr. Chas,
we are very disappointed of your rating.
You have booked in our hotel for 6 nights for 5 people. On your arrival you came with 4 people and we didn’t charge any extra costs. Than you have to start one day earlier because for you it was easier with the flight in the morning to stay the last night in Munich instant in our hotel. You were angry because we asked you to pay the last night. On your departure you told us, that you liked the last 5 days and it was a good stay in our hotel, but if we charge the last night you will not recommend our hotel and make a bad rating. We think that’s not fair!!!

We would like to respond to your points:
We charged for a new Family Suite with more than 50 m² for 2 adults and 2 children with 6 years € 400,00 per night inclusive full board, free access of our wellness area, hiking program, children program, free mountain bikes, free guest card for all mountain railways in our area, free public transportation, free entry in more than 80 museum and a lot more which you confirmed before.
Everyone can decide whether this price is really too high.

As you know, we offer a varied program for children 6 days a week for the whole day, a huge playground with petting zoo and three times a week horse riding, tractor driving and much more. Every child can make more rounds with our horses, how long the kids want.

Our house is surrounded by mountains, green meadows and our big private park on a very sunny place. Everyone can look on internet and decide whether it would be the right place for his vacation.

We are for freedom of expression, but if a review is based only on the fact that someone would represent a hotel bad because of cancellation costs, it is a really bad practice.

Superb hotel in a beautiful location (lovely valley). From the moment we arrived, we forgot about work, home, stress, the long drive to the hotel, ... The food was excellent and plentiful and there is always a great variety! Stunning wellness area (never seen this before) + swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff is super friendly. I would recommend this hotel to everybody (young and old, with or without children).
Excellent hotel deserving 5 stars! The garden suite was excellent and comfortable.
For us it was a really good experience. We wished we could stay a little longer.

Room Tip: Garden or Tirol suite

We stayed in Alphotel Tyrol for 10 days last July and were amazed by the excellent service. Very warm-hearted reception, child-friendly staff, neat & beautiful room, outstanding meals, vast playing area for the kids and jaw-dropping spa amenities. The overall atmosphere made us feel at home 100% ! There is actually nothing we could complain about, it was just perfect ! Thanks again for a holiday we will never forget !
