“What a view !!”
Reviewed May 14, 2013

We stopped for lunch here, it is perched on top of a cliff by the roadside. It was not a particularly windy day, but in this spot we felt as if we could be blown away. We dined inside overlooking the Atlantic a long way below us. The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was family style, which was fine for lunch. 2 mains and 2 beers about £17.
Worth it for the view.

“Very nice!”

Little restaurant with a wonderful view! Very friendly service, great prego sandwich and delicious typical portuguese snacks (home made). And a great sea view! Worth a visit!

“German beer, huge steak sandwich 'prego', spectacular views!”
Reviewed October 31, 2012

The restaurant, cafe, bar with seating indoors and outdoors is perched on top of cliffs in Faja da Ovelha with stunning views of the Atlantic ocean and Paul do Mar fishing village including the surfing beach which was a venue for the 2001 World Surfing Championships.

I ordered a Prego a steak sandwich and a German beer - Franziskaner..they were excellent.

There's plenty of parking and you can either reach the restaurant from the Faja da Ovelha side or Prazeres or from Paul do Mar

The whole experience is recommended!

“Massive portions!”
Reviewed September 19, 2012 via mobile

Well worth the walk or scary drive up here for the amazing views. weirdered the Bolo caco which unfortunately was cold and tasted like it was made with garlic margarine rather than butter. Massive though, 1 serving is plenty for 2 people. Then we had Espetada. The accompaniments were plentiful and delicious. The actual Espetada was rather chewy, did not taste like good quality beef. Shame they don't have a chicken option. We would go back and probably try the fish dishes. Very reasonable prices, cheap even.
