“Great combination of food and relaxation”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 18, 2013

Great food at a reasonable price. Once you are full of the 12 inches pastelillos nice and crunchy filled with whatever you can think of from three types of meat, to fish (chapin), shellfish and even carne frita...you can relax on the beach on their hamacs. It is a great tropical and relaxing experience.

“too greasy for me”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 9, 2013

Its easy to arrive!! ,just 40-more or less minutes driving distance from san juan pr. the place had a big parking also tables and seats and include hammoks at the front of the beach .(love that)

Honestly, did not like the taste of the food . I tried the "pastelillo de conejo" its 12 inches of pastelillo, but no the meat inside. also,it was greasiest including the "arepas de maiz" . Hope back someday to try the dinning options, hope they had a better taste.

“Ocean breeze, hammocks and seafood...can I move in?”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 2, 2013 via mobile

What a great afternoon out: 45 minutes from san Juan and you are in a different world! Ocean breeze out side casual dining. Good food! Chinchoro is what they call in in Puerto Roxanne Spanish: eat or nibble..no one will rush you to leave!! Linger on the hammocks and watch the sun set on the Caribbean sea....paradise! !!
And the food is good!!

“Great view....ripoff on food!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2013

I've eaten at this p;lace a couple times before over 2 years ago..and had hoped they had improved..but NO. Their "famous" pastelillos are only about 1/3 filled with stuffing, the rest is just flattened, greasy, overcooked dough. Since the pastelillos are pre-prepared and frozen, they just dump them in hot oil when you order and they then get overcooked on the outside and VERY greasy. At from $4 to $4.50 apiece...NOT worth it. Overpriced beers too. They charged me $3.21 for the local beer Medalla. I went down the beach later about 200 yards and got a Medalla for $1.25

Nice ocean view..but the pastelillos...NO MORE..!!!!

“Gigant stuffed whatever”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 14, 2013

Right now, I dont know how to translate "pastelillos" to English, but that food is nice and stuffed with a lot of options. The place is usually crowded, but somehow comfortable and with a windy and beautiful beach view
