Fantastic hotel, very friendly helpful staff. Good variety of food. Entertainment staff were absolutely brilliant, different things to do every day. The only downside was trivial, the water park had salt water. Would thoroughly reccomend it though.

Just returned from this fab hotel and feel the need to share our experience.
We travelled as a family of four with teenagers 17 and 18 and were given adjoining rooms rather than a family room, which meant we had two bathrooms- making getting ready a lot easier. Rooms are very clean, spacious and are cleaned everyday. I feel this is a good 4 star hotel. The food is really good with lots of choice including carved roast beef, pork, chicken kebabs and freshly cooked fish, together with a variety of pasta dishes, excellent salad bar and often pizza. Breakfasts included fresh pancakes, omelettes and eggs. The staff are continuously refilling food in the restaurant are very efficient and you never had to wait for a table.
When one bar closes another opens, we mainly used the pool bar, piano bar and the water park bars and found the staff very pleasant, if you are pleasant to the staff guess what, they are pleasant back. Main Arena plaza very busy in the evening, but that's like every other hotel, but there are quieter options. All staff very helpful and helped us book trips around the island. Pool is the warmest I've ever been in and very clean. Waterpark is ideal as there are always free sunbeds and while we were there the whole area was clean and constantly maintained. There does seem to be some work being carried out in the day to the central area, but this doesn't cause any problems to us holiday makers and only shows that the area is being looked after. The park area is lovely, with tennis courts, fitness track etc and there are a few shops to look round. The animation team provide opportunities for everyone to join in, but you can just sit and chill too. Beach is dark sparkly sand, very clean, offers different water sports and is two minutes walk from the hotel. This is a great hotel and resort and only wish I'd won the lottery when I got back so I could book another two weeks in Paradise! Thanks for a lovely holiday

Room Tip: Rooms on high floors, nearer the pool have some sea views

We arrived on thursday and we have brought my 2 children 11 and 15. They did not have any family or adjoining rooms available so they had there own room fantastic. It was next door so not a problem. This hotel is lovely. Rooms are big and bathrooms big. Staff are really attentative and immediately help with any questions or problems you may have. The food is FANTASTIC. my kids can't wait for mealtimes and neither can we. Very clean and rooms done every day. The only downside is you cant take drinks up to your room. And all inclusive is not available in the waterpark. But we loved the pool hotel. Its not salt water and eat and drink all you like. If you can eat anymore after breakfast, lunch and dinner I have to say again the food is wonderful, rooms are clean and large and staff are great. My 11 year old wants to stay.

myself my wife, and my daughter have just returned from a 2 week stay at paradise resort costa taurito. on arrival we were given the key to my room to discover there were only 2 beds, and was later given a camp bed that creeked every time my daughter moved and was very uncomfortable and we agreed to taking it in turns to sleep in it. the food was very good the first week with lots of options, however the second week the food was mainly rabbit, goat or liver which is not to our taste. the hotel staff were mainly friendly, but there was a couple of grumpy staff. one in particular worked on the bar, and was not a happy chap. the pool area was very nice and plenty of beds, and the pool was always warm. the water park was a 5 min walk and visited a few times and enjoyed it a lot, the beach was ok. we booked the holiday on the understanding it was adults only, however there were young children which is not what we booked and was a bit disappointed. the animation team worked extremely hard to make it a great experience and we participated in most of the daily activities, ie archery, darts, water polo which was brill. they also do a lot of the evening entertainment, and get the guests up for a bit of fun. I would go again just need to iron out a few of the issues. on the whole very relaxing. this is a true and honest review.

Visited in early June and I think they were suffering from staff shortages in the bar and restaurant.
Must say our room was very nice and absolutely spotless and the beds extremely comfortable it was cleaned and the linen changed daily in fact housekeeping kept the whole hotel immaculate. The only problem we had was that the hairdryer was broken and this was reported on arrival and again a few days later but nothing was done about it.
Breakfast was good - lots of choice however lunch and dinner menus were very repetitive and the dinner staff spent so much time making up tables for breakfast as soon as someone left, that if you came down late for dinner there was never a table set for dinner service. Clearing up was more canteen style with trolleys coming around, bashing you on the leg and waiter service was nil. The choice of drinks for anyone who doesn't drink alcohol was extremely disappointing - fizzy soft drinks, water or the same old fruit juice served for breakfast, lunch and dinner served in paper cups in comparison to our stay in Tunisia in February where the choice of non alcoholic fruit cocktails was amazing. Afternoon tea in the pool bar consisted of hot dogs, burgers, pizza and the odd cake which is more suitable for families with young children than an adults only hotel.
There was supposed to be an evening dress code for the restaurant but very little evidence of this happening with people dining in shorts, bikini tops etc.
The resort itself was noisy at night. The building work which was going on did not really affect us after all it has to be done at some time. Luckily we discovered Puerto Mogan which was only a 5 minute bus ride away and went there several times - beautiful place and if we were to go back to the area we would probably stay there.
Our return flight was not until 8.30 pm and we had to vacate the room in the morning. Late checkouts cannot be pre-booked but have to be done on the morning of departure and if the room isn't available which ours wasn't a courtesy shower is offered. However this was in a converted sauna in the basement with no windows or ventilation, benches to put your clothes, no hairdryer or even a mirror so you came out feeling worse than when you went in - but it least it was free!!
Lastly - at no point during the holiday did any of the staff ask if everything was OK and and if we were enjoying our holiday.

Room Tip: 2nd floor and above 206/306 etc onwards have a sea view but at a distance

This is my first time ever writing a review as I am new to the site but I feel I couldn't not write one as my boyfriend and I had such a good stay at this hotel! We arrived at 10:50pm just in time for a drink before the bar closed at 11 :) we weren't hungry but the hotel did supply us with a late dinner of meat, vegetables and fruit. Our room was spacious, clean and did not smell or have stains like previous reviews have said!! The pool is big enough and the pool bar and staff are great. The waterpark is brilliant but the only down side is the salt water but this isn't too much of a problem. The food was brilliant. My boyfriend is fussy but even he found something which he enjoyed at each meal. The choice of different ice creams available at each meal is great. I have put on half a stone from my ten day stay :o but all was definitely worth it. There isn't much entertainment for young adults during the evening but Porto Rico is ten mins on a bus journey for great nightlife. Thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, couldn't of asked for a better place, better weather or better food! Don't listen to the bad reviews they're all from either old, fussy, sad or stuck up people!!!!

Have to say we are here right now and are loving it :) staff are very friendly. Loads of choice on the food menu and it's cooked well. My fella is very fussy and he is definitely not starving, dreading getting on the scales when we get home! Staying in room 306a which has a sea view, the sun was not on the balcony first thing but when the sun came round it stayed until around 8pm :) not seen a single nasty bug, and haven't required insect repellant which is a huge bonus for me with my flying insect phobia....few flies but not many! The swimming pool is lovely, been on so many hols where the pool is icy but this was like getting in a cool bath, nice to cool down a little but no shocks to the system. You do have to pay for wifi ( which we expected) but to be fair didn't like that it is per device so for me and my fella to get wifi on iPads we have had to pay 50 euros for the week, oh well we gotta stay in touch with home! Also the safe is 3 euros per day plus 10 euro deposit so factor this in when weighing up hol cost although from what we have see so far you get your money's worth :) Not a problem getting a sunbed by the pool and we had a lie in, been other hotels where we had to be up at the rack of dawn to get a look in at the pool so again another bonus. Plenty of mirrors to get ready by but wish I had packed my own hair drier, the one here isn't the best althoughit does the job. Didn't think they cleaned on a Sunday but when we returned to the room this afternoon, the fairies had been in and left it pristine :) Have seen comments that the resort is looking tired but can only think that these people arrive, look around and say if I was fault finder what could I criticise. Do not let them put you off, this place is lovely, we have another 6 days but wish we had booked longer!

Room Tip: Choose an upper floor to get a sea view, we are in room 306
