“Good day ( half day ) out but entry fee is overpriced”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 22, 2012 via mobile

There is enough here to last you a few hours maximum ... 8-10 slides altogether, quite a large wave pool and what looked to be a really good children's area ... Food prices were better than expected and drinks were also only slightly more expensive than the resort .. The problem is the entry fee , it's 17 euro plus 3 euro for the bus so the package is 20 euro ... 2 of us went and it wasn't very busy at all so after going on all the attractions a few times we had dinner then found ourselves getting a tad bored .... Even going on 4 or 5 trips round the lazy rapids to pass the time until we had to go and meet the coach back to the hotel ... Don't get me wrong we had a good day but for 20 euros I want to be entertained for the whole day and not just a couple of hours ! .. So, overall worth doing just don't expect too much .

“Standard water park, ok for half a day”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 3, 2012 via mobile

Me and my girlfriend went to lido the day before we flew home, nice chill out day. We weren't checked for any water or food we went in. So maybe they don't bother any more. Plenty of sun beds around the park to use and leave our things at. Although there were lockers if you won't to leave your things out. We got there bout 10.30 til 4.00. There is a wave pool, which I think comes on every half hour or so. A children's play area, with water spraying every where ( didn't really go there tho ) 8 different types of slides, two which you go down with rubber rings, 5 that you go straight down in different ways and the best one called the toilet. You go down a slide, then there's like a bowl at the end which go round, then you eventually get thrown out at the end into water. You can just chill and go round on a ring in the whirlpool, but slow tho. The food at the lido was ok, usual stuff burgers, chips, kebabs. Average price too. Overall it was a relaxing day. Wouldn't spend a great deal if time there, but children would love it !!!

“Something to do”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 25, 2012

The lido is great for the kids 8 slides, one largish kids section , a wave pool only waves on the hour, 2 play/volley ball pools and the lazy river. Food is reasonable drinks aren't , 3.50 euro for a slush puppie! 2.20 a can of coke (that's what they are all over kos) they say no food or drink I say take your own they threaten to check but don't! Some of the staff need some training in their manners ie the girl on the smoothie bar terribly rude and one of the life guards took to shouting at my son who is only 6 and got scared witless so I had no choice but to shout back! Manners and people skills cost nothing, apart from it looking a little tired it's a day out, don't book with Olympic it costs more than any other trip supplier, shop around!
