We are very happy and pleased with our stay in this hotel :)

You can read about our trip from here: http://silviavolmar.blogspot.com/2014/08/kreeta-reis-paaalju-ilusaid-pilte.html .
There are many beautiful pictures of that trip and also you can translate into another language!:)

Bali is a very beautiful village and we were happy to get the room with the best view! Also we had to shower every time we went upstairs to our room...:D (veryy many stairs..but it was all worth it!:)

Also if you are looking for some fun night, ask some locals to show the best places to go at night! We went to Mambo where we had delicious cocktails and Restoran Panorama where they have Greek night and dancing every monday and friday!:)

Also the adventures like jeep safari and jet ski´ng were so much fun!

The hotel was great! It is located in one of the most beauticul places in Crete! So many mountains and beautiful views!

But there were some little things to whine about, ofcourse... Like the ants came on to our bed, where we ate chips or bisquits. Or I had to pull out the fridge wire every time we went to sleep because it made a little noise :D Or we did not have the hot water every time we wanted to shower. Also the food was not the greatest.. But these are the little things:)

Despite all of this, we are really happy that we chose Bali Beach and Village hotel:)

Room Tip: Rooms on the village side (beach and village side are seperated) and on the highest have the most be...

Having read the reviews of this hotel we were a little worried – we need not have been.

We have just spent two weeks in this wonderful resort. It is small, friendly and very quiet, just right for a relaxing holiday. There are some nice walks around the resort if you are feeling energetic, or you could just relax by one of the two pools available.

The rugged terrain meant the hotel was built on a hillside with lots of steps, 121 of them to get to our room in the annex - the advantage was it kept us fit and worked off the good food. But if you do have mobility problems it would be advisable to emphasise this when you make your booking as there are rooms lower down the hill.

There was always plenty of choice of food at each meal with a Greek speciality at lunch and dinner. The translation of the menu meant a little guess work but it was fun trying new items. There are several local tavernas within easy reach in the resort which were always busy. We did try one. The food was excellent and the staff extremely welcoming.

The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were kept beautifully clean with the sheets and towels being changed every two days. The air-conditioning in the rooms in the heat of July was lovely.

Paula, our Olympic Tour operator’s Representative was first class with advice and help and was available in the hotel on a regular basis.

A comfortable hotel, good and plentiful food, very friendly and helpful staff with wonderful views, but the resort may not be the place for you if you have any mobility problems.
There were many European Nationalities in the hotel. In fact we were the only English tourists there for the whole two weeks. The behaviour of the young children from the former iron curtain countries was exemplary.

We would certainly go again and recommend it to others.

Room Tip: If you have mobility problems (or are not particularly fit) ask for a room on one of the lower level...

We arrived at the hotel only 2 be told we were right on the top of the village side. They kindly took us up by car around back of hotel lucky enough. We requested a ground floor as I have Mobility problems befor we arrived, and they didn't see this. They resolved it 4 us in the morning very quickly thank goodness. I walked down the steps in the morning and 2 be fair anyone with out mobility problems would find it hard!, We didnt realise how many steps there was & it should be made clear that you have 2 be well to go there. On another note the staff were fatastic especially george in the bar & chris in the restaurant & other bar. They looked after us very well., in fact all the staff were lovely. The food wasnt 2 our taste bar the salad, so went out 4 meals every night. The tavernas all around were lovely & VERY FRIENDLY. Rooms were ok. If we new about steps we wouldnt have gone there, but glad we didn't because we wouldnt have stayed in such a friendly & beautiful place. To sum it up hotel was friendly but if you want posh its not for you.

Room Tip: Go on the beach side beatiful views & less steps.

was great. However if I had stayed on the village side I might have found the number of steps challenging, but the views were stunning so it was well worth the effort. It was very clean, the staff very polite and helpful. There was a wide variety of food to accommodate the many different nationalities who were also holidaying here. I always found something delicious and there was always a lovely crisp salad.

Room Tip: sea view main hotel

Small and quiet hotel. Clean rooms with a great view of the sea. Hotel located in a small tourist town. No animation. Food tasty. The intimate, romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples but not only. Recommend

Bali is a fantastic place to stay and our rooms were 'Village' side, lots of steps but wonderful views from the balcony. The rooms were very basic and the bed most uncomfortable. The food wasn't good either, you'd do better to have a Bed and Breakfast option and go out to eat. There is a wonderful bakery just round the corner and lots of great tavernas down by the beach. Take a trip on the train and explore the rest of Bali, some areas seem livlier than others if that's what you're after. With 2 kids we made most use of the rooftop pool, again a lovely location but not sure the pool was as clean as it could be - wear goggles as one of us came home with conjunctivitis and a head cold! We would return to Bali, but probably not to this hotel, and definitely not on the All Inclusive basis. Although it was useful for the free drinks it was not somewhere we wanted to eat so we went out every night.

Room Tip: Beach side rooms face the sea, Village side rooms have the sea view and the mountains, and watching...

Firstly, don't waste your hard earned money with this hotel. It may have its own beach but its so small you will have a hard time finding any space. Rather offering the wonderful cuisine that at which most Cretain restaurants excels. You are served up this trash that you what not even give to your dog. Then there are the steps, loads of them. If you are infirm in any way this not the place for you! On our arrival we were told the hotel was full, how or why since we got our booking confirmation I have no idea. They gave us alternative accommodation which was appalling. Then the AC broke down, an issue that was never resolved. The beds have the resistance of a plank of wood. We stayed in one night Matala and then Sitia in lesser starred hotels but the service, room and food were easily bettered in both.

Room Tip: another room in another hotel
