Small and quiet hotel. Clean rooms with a great view of the sea. Hotel located in a small tourist town. No animation. Food tasty. The intimate, romantic atmosphere, ideal for couples but not only. Recommend

Bali is a fantastic place to stay and our rooms were 'Village' side, lots of steps but wonderful views from the balcony. The rooms were very basic and the bed most uncomfortable. The food wasn't good either, you'd do better to have a Bed and Breakfast option and go out to eat. There is a wonderful bakery just round the corner and lots of great tavernas down by the beach. Take a trip on the train and explore the rest of Bali, some areas seem livlier than others if that's what you're after. With 2 kids we made most use of the rooftop pool, again a lovely location but not sure the pool was as clean as it could be - wear goggles as one of us came home with conjunctivitis and a head cold! We would return to Bali, but probably not to this hotel, and definitely not on the All Inclusive basis. Although it was useful for the free drinks it was not somewhere we wanted to eat so we went out every night.

Room Tip: Beach side rooms face the sea, Village side rooms have the sea view and the mountains, and watching...

Firstly, don't waste your hard earned money with this hotel. It may have its own beach but its so small you will have a hard time finding any space. Rather offering the wonderful cuisine that at which most Cretain restaurants excels. You are served up this trash that you what not even give to your dog. Then there are the steps, loads of them. If you are infirm in any way this not the place for you! On our arrival we were told the hotel was full, how or why since we got our booking confirmation I have no idea. They gave us alternative accommodation which was appalling. Then the AC broke down, an issue that was never resolved. The beds have the resistance of a plank of wood. We stayed in one night Matala and then Sitia in lesser starred hotels but the service, room and food were easily bettered in both.

Room Tip: another room in another hotel

Ok everyone time for a proper review of this bitter sweet hotel. I will be fair and tell you the good qualities first. So... The first point is the location is wonderful. Particularly if you are looking for a more "quiet area to visit. You are not far from some fantastic beaches, I mean really fantastic. Bali beach is great ,I must say. Clear water, perfect diving and snorkeling. If you have children it really is wonderful. But other beaches are also great in the cites and villages between 25 min and 1 1/2 hours drive . They also have a decent pool. Ok, good points are at an end. This is NOT a 4 star hotel , it would be pushing it to call it a 3 star hotel. Our room was dirty when we arrived, the fridge in the room worked but did not close .The service is almost laughable it was so bad, and they seemed not to care .They were nice, but really could not be shocked by anything we told them. The" all inclusive" deal really is a joke. They give you a blue arm band like you just bought a ticket to the carnival that you must wear ALL of the time . There are no clothes washing facilities for a 14 day trip anywhere in Bali. There is no ATM in Bali so bring your cash!! And the worst thing about the all inclusive is the food is fit for a prison but not a hotel. Most of it comes out of a can , and the rest is prepared with no love. Mass produced "Greek" cuisine .Horrible breakfast, beans and barley cooked canned hotdogs ,the cheapest drinks you can buy.. Chemical artificial orange juice and apple juice.. sorry not juice "Apple Drink ". It is a nightmare really . So if you are looking forward to a good meal .reconsider the all inclusive bit. There are a great deal of Russians and other eastern Europeans ,this is not a bad thing of course, but if you come from somewhere else and only speak English or German then your children might have a hard time finding friends as most speak Russian .I could go on, but I won't. Bali is beautiful ,Bali Beach and hotel...your money could be better spent somewhere else, but if you must it is not the worst, just be warned . In the end we liked it enough to relax and accept our fate, and we had a really good 13 days here despite the issues ..We won't come back to this hotel, but we will return to Bali!!!

Room Tip: Ask for the sea view with a BIG terrace not balcony.

We spent a few days in June at Bali Beach and it was really the best beach holidays we ever had. The hotel has its own beach and we were lucky enough to be given a room almost on the beach. The staff is very polity and always smiling and the breakfast good enough.
For sure we will be there again later this summer...

Room Tip: Rooms at Beach complex are closer to the sea, with less stairs, but rooms at Village complex are hig...

I was here on 21st September 2011, weather perfect to me. Not too hot, one or two days with rain, excelent quiet place where renting a car (40EU/12h) is a warranty of great visit on this island. One day east, one day west and one day south visit.
Food is ok, we may know greece kitchen (many people has taken fries or chicken??) which is so, so marvelous. All here is not on the top of expectations but it's enought to be satisfied.
It's true there is 20 - 30 stairs on the way to the beach, but people!!! I've found here quite cheap and quiet hotel with nice staff. Becouse of mountain neighbourhood there is a moment (4-5pm?)when sun disappear from pool place which is closed on night time ;(

Room Tip: best rooms are downstairs past the pool on the first floor, with big balcony and sea view.

We stayed here for a couple of days. The location is lovely and the hotel accommodation was ok... It's ok for a 3 star hotel. The food also ok but more a mass production. We wanted a later check out. However that was not accommodated as it was way too busy. The place was full of Russians ( lovely people of course) but we felt more like we were in Russia than a greek island. Seems to be a popular destination for bus loads of Russians...
