Wonderful place to spend some days near the St. Odile convent and his incredible panorama on the Alsace valley's.
The Hotel is plenty of colorful flours and the restaurant deserve a star in the Michelin.
Julien's family and employees are really at the service of the visitor .
The only issue should be the train passes behind the small river adjacent to the property, but it is not too disturbing . They are too much other advantages and reasons to stay there.

Stayed here to celebrate my birthday with my partner on recommandation of some friends and also based on the reviews we can read here. Must say was very pleased with the reservations made directly by the hotel, well in advance, but my heart almost stood still when i drove up to the place. It was sittuated very very close to a busy busy road with lots of trucks passing by every minute, but it all turned out that the hotel was very aware of that, because all of there rooms were facing the opposite side and even being so close to the road we could not here anything form the traffic in our room, even on our balcony. Very nice and large room (we had a prince of salm) with a small refrigirator to keep your own things chilled. The only downside was a train running on this side of the hotel on unscheduled times sometimes at 5 am and with the warm weather and open windows (no airco) it can wake you up early. Also the villages church strikes every hour, repeats it and also gives a bell at every half hour.
Than the food: apparently this hotel/restaurant is famous for it and i only can agree. Very tasty dishes, altough it can bit to much, since in half pension you get a five cours meal every evening including a cheese buffet. We found the soup with the warm weather we had a bit over the top, but nevertheless consumed it all. Breakfast was simply amazing, everything you can dream of was there including bubbles in a glass (Cremant d'alsace). Winecard was very good and correcly prised, altough being in the area it seemed a waste drinking anything else but Alsace wines, who are very refreshing.
To the downside, two points i did not like :
- first of all : there were people entering the restaurant with shorts and T-shirts without sleaves and even some with a small dogg, this really is not done. They should forbid that , think hygiëne !
- secondly : there is a small pool and wellness (bigger and outside still under construction) , but sometimes guests were playing inside it and trowing with a ball and screaming, again : forbid that because its only irritating to anybody else
We did have a lovely week there and hopefully the hotel takes this remarks in consideration for other guests benefits and next time it will be full marks.

Room Tip: I think all rooms are good because of the location at the back of the hotel, there are 3 sorts and t...

We just stayed for 4 nights in this hotel who's only quotated with 2 stars....It's quiet unbelieveable... For us, this hotel earns 4 stars...
The hotel is beautiful, the rooms (even the standard Bruchoise chambres) are very wide and haves all the service you want (wide bed, balcony with view on the garden, safe, television, safe, wifi,...), the swimming pool is little but charming with jacuzzi, hamam, sauna, ..... and last but not least, the food is excellent with a great buffet on Thursday evening..
Within 50 km, you can visit the charming Elzas Villages like Obernai, Colmar, Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, and many, many more.... So, it was a very pleasant stay in this lovely region....

We stayed at the hotel for 4 nights and used it as a base to explore the region. We stayed in one of the largest room types and found it comfortable. Please note not all room types are airconditioned.

The foods was of high quality and abundant. The hotel has a significant spa complex and therefore tends to have an older client base.

The Vosges mountains were amazing and very beautiful.

The beautiful family that runs this hotel & spa tells us in the flyer that they are aiming to be and to stay a 2 stars-family hotel. However all the wonderful things we have experienced here are more likely for a 5 starhotel.
Be lucky to get here, since they have an extreme high occupation rate !

they say in their advertising ...and, surprise, IT IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE : never had such a warm welcome in 30 years. Very cosy place, well decorated, price/performance ratio is excellent, food is really good, although they claim they have no gastronomic ambition, nice Spa, including a temperature in the sauna which ,seems not to be hit by petrol prices - rare, these days in continental Europe...- . We shall return !

Room Tip: The suites, named "Prince de Salm" are really gorgeous. Combined with the half board rate...

I got to know this restaurant from a french friend and I totally recommend it. Unfortunately we haven´t stayed at the hotel - it is still expensive for me but one day I will make it :-). I have passed by the pool to get into the hotel and it is very very beautiful, I believe price is fair. About the restaurant, food is special. It is creative and delicious.
