“Nice sandy beach!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013

Our hotel (Lindos Imperial) was a shingle beach, whereas Glystra was a nice and sandy alternative. It's a very cosy cove, with plenty of sunbeds (a few euros), and also a very reasonable bar/food vendor, with friendly service.

“The nicest beach of Rhodes”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 26, 2013

For many, many years now we come to Rhodes and we think Glystra is the nicest beach. It is in a cove, the water is unimaginably blue and clean. Whilst snorkeling you can see many fishes.
The people in the Cantina are very, very friendly!

“Best beach a walk from Hotel.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 22, 2013

Sandy and gradual walk into sea. Very close to the Hotel, the hotel beach is Shale and Sand, this is much better and worth the walk. 6 euros for a sunbed.

“A very good, quiet location with good snorkelling”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2013

A great location that's very private and not busy where you can always get a bed for €4. The sea was shallow and great for snorkelling, providing lots of fish. There were many rocks to explore and dive off of and the beach was not to crowded at all. There were boats available for rental including peddle boats and kayaks which are priced at €8 for a double, and €6 for a single. They were great for paddling out to the next door beach and getting a great view of the bay. The beach is next to sandy dunes which are great for kids to explore and play in and when on top provide a great view of the next door beach and resort. The snack bar was very cheap, and it was obvious why. The food was very poor quality and disappointing however they had a vast variety of ice cream!

“Nice sandy cove”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 15, 2013

A hidden gem. About a 20 minute stroll (to the left) from Kiotari Seaside / Miralua village resort. Unlike most of the beaches in the area it is soft sand with a large sand bank to the left making it a great place to take the kids swimming / snorkelling.
