“Amazing hotel, staff, room, pool and beach!”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

We had such a lovely time here, the staff were so lovely I tipped them all before we left! The pool show in the evenings was brilliant and the food had a massive range so always lots to choose from. The rooms were white ad stunning with comfy beds. The beach really nice and crystal clear water. I just want to go back! Thank you to all at the hotel!

Room Tip: pool facing rooms can enjoy the pool light show, I had a side room so I could just see the sea, but...

We stayed here for 10 days in July. The hotel itself is stunning. All of the staff are exceptionally helpful, polite and really do make your stay even better. The rooms are immaculate and beautiful. Lots of choice and variety of food and the a la carte restaurant was fantastic. There's not much in the surrounding areas but perfect for a relaxing break. Really really enjoyed our holiday.

So a beautiful hotel from the moment you arrive you feel like its luxury.

The service at the reception was not brilliant but effective. They did not make a fuss about it being our honeymoon which was sad. And having to wear plastic all inclusive bracelets spoilt it a bit.

After a hellish 2 & 1/2 hour journey from the airport which if you have the option get a private transfer as this on the coach was bloody awful!!

The room on arrival was gorgeous we had room with private pool not the honeymoon room the private suite which was nicer as bigger and had 4 poster bed. Bathroom looked slightly old which was odd as the whole hotel looks brand new. Although these rooms are much nicer you over look a quiet road with building works going on and not much else to look at really. Although as it was our honeymoon that didn't worry us.

The food was always edible but some times repeated which was also fine with us. There was always good available too which was nice.

The bus trips out if the hotel where a bit of a mission. The closet place was lindos and it was packed on the bus but well worth a visit.

Generally a lovely time shame it's so far from airport though as this is what will stop us visiting again.

Dear Valuable guest,

Thank you very much for choosing to spend your honeymoon in our Princess Andriana Resort & Spa. Thank you also for sharing your experience and helping us to make our services even better.

We are glad that you overall had a nice experience in our hotel. We read your comments very carefully and we apologize for not fully meeting your expectations.
More particularly we are sorry that upon arrival our reception team did not highlight the fact that you were on your honeymoon. We know how important those moments are for a couple and in your case our reception team should have been more informed; however, regarding the bracelet we need to note that in an all-inclusive hotel everyone needs to have a bracelet in order to avoid confusions. Certainly though, every guest can keep the bracelet with them at all times with their ID in case they do not wish to wear it.
Furthermore regarding the transfer we are really sorry for your experience, but on the other hand this is not a service that is provided by the hotel, but by a third party company.
Moreover there must have been insufficient information regarding the room with private pool that you stayed. This is indeed the Honeymoon Room with Private pool, the suite with the four posted bed that you describe is not the honeymoon room but the Junior Suite with Private pool. With regards to the note that refers to the bathroom it indeed came as a surprise to us as the hotel was built in 2012 and we have never heard of something like this before.
Lastly we would like to note that even though our Hotel is circa 45 minutes away from the airport, it is located in a very beautiful landscape with direct access on the beach that provides the setting for a relaxing and memorable holiday.

We really hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.

Kind Regards,

Princess Andriana Resort & Spa Team

We booked a week here in July 2013 as a last minute getaway and really glad we did.

We knew the place was relatively new but the pictures looked lovely. I must admit, the décor quality of the Hotel was great. It had a very clean and modern design.

We booked a standard double room and it was lovely. Great size, great design, a balcony out onto the pool area. There was nothing to fault in the room at all.

We used the gymnasium whilst we were there and it's actually quite reasonable. Modern equipment, TVs above the treadmills, but not entirely on the big side. At certain times of the day it can be really busy.

Breakfast and dinner as part of our package was adequate enough. It can be really busy, with staff doing their best to keep up to speed. It wasn't 5* dining in our opinion though. But most things were fresh and tasty. We had one night dining in the Moonlight Restaurant, and the difference in quality can be seen and tasted! The cocktails are amazing.

Poolside is nice enough, comfortable loungers and quiet enough, depending on which families you sit near to! The pool is lovely and cool, perfect for a nice dip after some sun worship. The poolside bar is nice for the occasional drink, be it water or alcohol. Staff there are always friendly.

The animation team are good fun and put on a good show at night.

The beach is a short walk away, underneath the roadway, with plenty of loungers for everyone.

I would recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably quiet, good quality and facilities sunshine break.

My first impression was aaaaaaaaaaaggggghhhhhhh!!! its massive!! Being used too smaller hotels and holidays where we drive and explore more I was always a bit unsure of a all inclusive holiday with my family, though cheaper I don't like the idea of being in an open prison in the sun!! As the holiday went on I eventually gave in to the whole relaxing around the hotel bit (quite hard for a first timer).I began to notice how clean and well ran it is for a large Hotel. The food was good with a good variation and the snacks you could get right up to midnight were freshly cooked and not heated up left overs. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, we had 3 and all were good. The children's entertainment was really impressive keeping my bored teenagers entertained! The private beach area is nice with a snack bar close by. All in all a really nice experience for all my family which can be tricky as there's 9 of us! Not the cheapest holidays but definitely worth it.
We have just booked 2 weeks there for this year, hopefully it'll be just as good! I will let you all know.

We booked an 11 night stay at the Princess Andriana for our honeymoon and it was also our first experience of travelling with our 7 month old son. The hotel was fantastic and the staff couldn't do enough for us.

We arrived very early in the morning and found food and drink in our room on our arrival. There was also a bottle of fizz and a 'congratulations' note. The room was lovely, modern, spacious and had everything we could have wanted; toiletries including toothbrushes and paste, towels (including beach/pool towels) robes, slippers and complimentary mini bar which was replenished every few days. The bed was huge and so comfortable.

The staff at this hotel made our stay. They were all so friendly. In the restaurant there was a good selection of food and on our first visit the Matre d', Despina, asked if we would like some food for our son. Every meal time after that she sought us out and bought us pureed food for him (we didn't have to ask, it just appeared!).

The restaurant did get busy, and at the busiest times there was a queue to be seated. The staff did their best to seat people as quickly as they could and we didn't hear anyone complaining. The staff also tried to combat this by placing extra tables for dining in the conference room. This was mainly a problem when it was too windy to use the outside dining space.

The hotel has a private shingle beach, which is accessed via an underpass. This was a short, pleasant walk (not like the underpasses you would think of in England!). There was an all day snack bar at the beach so food, drink and ice creams were available and included in the all-inclusive. There were plenty of free sunbeds and umbrellas at the beach.

There were a few small downsides; the outdoor pool was freezing. Both the main pool and the kiddies pool were so cold that we could only stay in for a few minutes at a time. This was a shame as our son loves the water and I really didn't want to go in! The hotel does have an indoor pool but as it was part of the spa children under 16 were not permitted. I can understand this, but it would have been lovely if maybe an hour a day, perhaps at a quiet time, was set aside for a 'family swim' session where kids could use the pool.

The other downside was the pool bar. The service there was shocking. There was usually one girl serving, who didn't have much of an idea who was next and this often meant quite a wait to be served. We travelled towards the end of the season (end of September) so perhaps in the summer there are more staff at this bar? If you just want soft drinks though, these are available at the all day snack bar and sometimes it was quicker to use this!

Although I've mentioned a few downsides, in the grand scheme of things, over 11 nights, these were our only niggles. Other than that we had no complaints.

The facilities at the hotel were brilliant although there is not much around the hotel. This didn't bother us at all, we just wanted to relax.

We ventured into Lindos one day, catching the bus from opposite the hotel. Whilst Lindos was lovely and it made a change to go out and explore, I would highly recommend getting a cab. We got a cab on the way back as the bus on the way was a headache. It was crammed and it's definitely worth the extra for the comfort of a taxi. If there are other people from the hotel going to the same place you could easily split the cost. It took about ten minutes in the cab whilst the bus took about 30.

The staff really did make our stay and the hotel was lovely. We are seriously considering returning again. It made it easy for us travelling with a baby as nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Thank you Princess Andriana and, particularly, Despina, for giving us a fantastic honeymoon!

Room Tip: We had a ground floor room overlooking the pool, which was lovely.
