Would thoroughly recommend a visit here. You can walk up the volcano, which is not terribly tall and around the edge of the crater, not something you can do easily anywhere else. There is a visitors' centre, where you can get information and a snack.

To the less dangerous volcanoes that is. This volcanoe is acessed from the village of Fuencaliente. It has a small display area, a cafe and toilets. Very pleasant views

Went with friends we mad and had excellent sunshine walking around the crater, put the children on camel ride and the clouds moved in, couldn't see a thing but children were all ok and enjoyed the experience

An interesting display in the visitors' centre, where the guide was extremely friendly and informative (she gave us the best restaurant recommendation of our stay on the island!) The day was very hot and we were extremely glad of a cold drink on our return from the observation point. That said, the views were absolutely amazing.

We walked down from Los Cancajos and decided it might be worth the €5 fee to walk around the rim of the crater and then visit the museum. It was worth it. The views inside the crater are imposing; and there is a great panoramic view north-west along the coastline. The museum is informative and generally well laid out. there are toilets available and they serve light refreshments.
