This is a very nice hotel. I also visited the groups other two hotels in this location to eat and relax. Originally I had booked in to the corrisa beach but the decided at the last minute to upgrade to the harmony. This is a hotel with a definite design theme. The room I had was modem and attractive. The bathroom is part of the room with the toilet in a separate glassed cubicle. An open double shower which drained well. Hot water and water pressure was good. The staff are in general very nice. Crete and Georgioupolis in particular is very popular with German tourists and so don’t be surprised if much of the information and the way staff adress you is in German. They did try very hard to facilitate English menu etc in the restaurant which I appreciated. The food at the a la carte restaurant is extremely good probably some of the best hotel food that I have had. I would have liked there to be a seven day rotating menu instead of five as this would facilitate more choice. When one is staying at the harmony you can also choose to eat at Corrisa gardens. For a hotel buffet( which I usually hate) this was actually very nice and I enjoyed it. There is a small pool at the harmony and one can also use the much larger pool in the corrisa gardens. The pool did close at 5pm, which seems very early to me but maybe because it is early season and chilly in the evenings. The ground floor rooms have swim up private pools, although I think it’s good to know that they are private in that they are part of your room but the small pool areas are divided by clear glass. Personally I would have liked to see shaded glass between them but I assume it’s been done like that to maximise light. Beach is just a few metres away with comfortable sun beds. Also, they change your beach towel when you ask without the silly card system that some hotels The towels are nice and soft. While hotel is very clean and the housekeepers come in a timely manner and do a good job.
Would I stay again? At a corrisa hotel definitely it seems like the company is very well run and have got most things right. Would I stay at the harmony again? Maybe not mainly because this is very much a couples hotel and as a recently widowed lady it might not be the right fit for me. If I came back I think I would stick to Corrisa beach as for me the extra money I paid for the upgrade as a single person may not have been the right choice. If you are a couple who want quiet and relaxation this place would be perfect.
That brings us to price for seven nights at the end of May I paid I think around 1600 euros. I would say that as nice as it is this is quite expensive. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was included in the price so that obviously is a plus. Drinks are average hotel prices so that’s ok( especially if like me you aren’t a big alcohol drinker)
So, In conclusion would recommend the harmony for couples. I have had a really lovely holiday and the hotel has been relaxing.
