We went to The Sandy Beach Hotel in August for 10 days. Having read all those bad reviews we were pleasantly surpised. It's a medium sized hotel located right at the beach.
The rooms we had (there were 6 of us) were in bungalows. The top floor had balconies and the ground floor rooms had a little porch.
Food was served in the form of a buffet which was mostly local cuisine. There's a good choice for vegetarians as well as "meat lovers". For the all inclusive deal there were soft drinks, tea, coffee, beer and Raki served at the beach bar untill 10 o'clock.
Dimitris, the owner was dJ'ing pretty much every night to entertain their guests and the beach bar stayed open till the very last customer - I know because we were the last a few times :-)
In the hotel you get plenty of German (who took all the sunbeds(!) at the pool) and Russian guests along with other nationalities.
The staff at the hotel were the friendliest people ever, they genuinely care about their guests. Antigoni, Dimitris and bar staff: Sofia and Katharina - thank you for making our stay at your hotel so nice!!!
So really really really don't read the reviews which are at the bottom of this page because it's probably competion of just some wining peeps who can't enjoy themselves wherever they go.More
