There were 4 of us on our recent tour with Rule and we all simply loved it ! The wealth of history and factoids he has .... We couldn't get enough ! We spent two full days, I highly recommend this if any way possible as the whole D Day experience really takes the two full days. We were never bored, learned way more than expected and enjoyed every minute ! We ran Into other tour groups/leaders along the way and each time we did it was clear to us we had made the right choice with Rule.... He,s a true historian and passionate about the stories he tells.
We will return again one day for certain!

We visited Normandy and were thrilled with the Victory Tour. There were a total of 8 of us on the tour, and the owner was an expert and an excellent host. He shared a wealth of knowledge and experiences. He also arranged a picnic mid-tour which was a treat. I would recommend his services to anyone.

Mr. Roel (pronounced Rule) gave a remarkable day of travel throughout the D-Day landing areas, not only hitting the “High” points of such a tour but including a wealth of knowledge not normally readily available Each stop was accompanied with an ongoing description of the events that occurred on that faithful day in June punctuated with small stories that would never make the history books but brought to life the horrors, laughter, successes, failures and bravery of the men who assaulted those beaches.
I can only commend Roel for his knowledge, friendliness and forethought. Thank you Roel.
PS. Roel, The German military graves in Chattanooga are those of WWI and WWII POW’s who died while interned there.

This is an exceptional tour with a wonderful host. It was easy to book the tour via email and all arrangements were clear and precise. The early train ride from Paris was easy to navigate and Roel was waiting at the designated meeting point with a warm smile and welcoming presence. Roel is great; his knowledge, wit and heartfelt stories create a great experience. This tour provides participants with an excellent history lesson that is accompanied by a variety of amazing stories that Roel has gathered from our Veterans. This is a unique and memorable experience.
