We visited here with our two kids - 2 & 3 yrs. We all had a fun time feeding the monkeys with popcorn that the park provides free. We did think it a little expensive (€8.50) for what amounts to an hours walk but I was impressed by the number of staff that were around making sure neither the monkeys nor we were misbehaving! There is a nice area for lunch including a kids playground so that our little monkeys could practice what they'd seen. All in all a good half day out - perhaps combined with a trip to the nearby beautiful village of Selestat for some wine tasting the next time we're there.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this place and I was a bit hesitant about being close to wild monkeys after hearing about some recent chimp attacks, but monkey mountain did not disappoint!

I thought there might just be a few monkeys off in the distance to observe, but there were maybe 50-100 and they came right up to us and sat patiently to receive some popcorn from our open hands--the staff instructs you how to offer the monkeys the food. It was really cool!

The monkeys are very used to humans and calmly accept us moving around them. When they take the popcorn from your hand they don't scratch or paw at you for more. I hope that they are being treated well. We were lucky enough to see some really adorable baby monkeys clinging to their moms and some youngsters playing in the trees. I don't think my kids will ever forget this unique experience.

Had a chance to visit the place with famil over a weekend, what great fun! Feeding pop corns to monkeys was a unique experience. They roam freely in the park, which very unique. Plenty of parking as well. After the park visit one can enjoy some snacks while kids can plan in the playground.

It was a nice walk through a shaded forest, and obviously hand-feeding monkeys is fun. The whole family enjoyed it, and it was easily the highlight of the week for my daughter.

We had a fun visit. The girls loved being so close to the monkeys! The will make nasty faces if you get too close. Dogs are allowed near the eating area but of course not into the park. Allow about 1 hour for your visit.
