So I'm here on business, three days traveling and two working and I have a cold. It sucks being alone, and not speaking the language. But I love this place. The woman working the desk during the day speaks excellent English, and the owner is not to bad ether. But it’s a little spotty beyond that. But that’s Okay. This is Italy, not the US., and not a tourist destination. Get over it. Its where the working everyday people of Italy live. As long as you have a great staff that is willing to work with you to understand your Italian/Spanish/English monstrosity that is spilling out of your mouth, it will all work out. That’s why I love Italy. The history is amazing, the food is awesome, but the people are what makes this country.
So on to the hotel. Better that most 3 stars. The rooms are big, but dated. (its not the Marriot but also its ¼ of the price). The restaurant is great. The food and table wine makes you appreciate how good the Italians live. BTW everything is about 1/3 the price as the U.S. I would highly recommend this place. Even if it’s not for business, it’s a great value and a comfortable, clean, and safe place for the night.More
