We stayed in Gualdo Tandino for six nights as we toured Umbria. We read about La Terrazza di San Guido on TripAdvisor and wanted to try it for one of our nightly meals. First of all, I want to point out that the Google map location for the restaurant was incorrect (we did report this). The map location showed that we could walk to La Terrazza from downtown. We walked up the hill and searched and searched, but finally gave up. The next night, we took our car and drove another kilometer or so and found the restaurant...and we ate there the next night as well. The restaurant is family owned and operated. The owners do not speak English, but they went out of their way to bring a waitress to our table to help us with the specials. On the second night, we sat outside on the balcony. The view was spectacular! The food, which included a variety of grilled meats, was fantastic and very reasonably priced. The complimentary, home made, lemoncello cream was a great way to top off the meal.
