Ok once we were there I admit it cost me a lot of money!!!! They know how to get if from you one way or another, be savvy if you can. Photos are taken of you at entry one of each of you, one of the group and then presented in several forms each at the end for a considerable price. Dolphin and sealing photos taken with yourself are 30 euros each and no group pics allowed. Drinks, food and ice cream are expensive too.

Lockers are available and of course at about 20euro.

Costs aside, this place was really good, our second visit and all our kids enjoyed it. The shows are excellent but you need to be carefully with planning and times to see them all as the parrot show finishes the dolphin in starting as soon as that over the sealion show starts. Even though we were all having fun watching these incredible well presented shows the kids had been sat for a while in heat and were thirty, drinks were being offered around the crowd in attractive beakers for 6 euros each.

Then time for look around, something to eat and leaves a couple of hours for the water park and slides. Some queues were longer than others but all were pretty good, the water was really cold and had to keep taking the kids out to warm up. However we took towels and laid them out in a spot for sunbathing like. Out o the others.

We only just add the transport back, it doesn't hang around.

TIP? most tour operators off tickets as an excursion and tell you it includes transport however they send you to the nearest pickup point for the bus. The bus is free bus that operates from marineland and anyone can join at the pick up point. Also mst travel agents don't tell you but will match a better price if available for the same, the marineland website offers online discount which can be printed at hotel and taken with you. I got thompsons to match the price and saved a total of 30 euros!!

There is a free bus from Lloret De Mar (and Tossa De Mar I believe) that takes you there and brings you back later on. This is a Sea Life Centre and a Waterpark in one. The animal side opens at 10am and there is a parrot show, sea lion show and a dolphin show which are all fantastic. There are other water animals and lots of birds to see before the water park opens at 12:30. There are lots of slides to enjoy and a pool just for swimming. You can rent a rubber ring for a fee or wait around to share those in the park. There are lots so we never waited too long for single floats but it can get a little tedious if you are waiting for the paired one so two of you can go down at the same time. I definitely think the park needs to invest in a few more of those!

Took the free bus from lloret de mar here for the day. Was a very good day out. Visited the animals first and saw the parrott, dolphin and seal shows which were all brilliant. They are held throughout the day and last about 20-30 mins each. Bought food there and had a baguette was average price and for the sake of not having to bring our own it was worth it.
The water park side is bigger than you think. There is a pool for swimming as well as a kids bit. A selection of water slides were there. And Lockers are available for a small deposit.
The rubber rings were confusing to begin with as you can rent a float out so we thought this had to be done...however it just means you can join the slide queue quicker. We didn't rent rings and it just meant lining up to get one first. The queues weren't too bad seeing as it was august. We still managed to get around them all. You can leave your towel lying around and feel sure that it will be there on your return.
A brilliant day out.
