I found this B&B with www search. Alain and Patricia were excellent hosts. Substantial continental breakfast. WiFi. Room warm, beautifully decorated and furnished. Short distance from Amiens. Bus access to/from Blangy -Tronville or an easy 800m walk from Blangy Petite with regional bus route. I was following relatives who served in WW1 AIF. Excellent base for WW1 Battlefield tours re The Somme. This B&B is well located to otherwise explore this beautiful region.

Room Tip: Bus terminal under Amiens Railway Station.

Good value for money, and a good location for visiting the various sites of interest - particularly from an Australian viewpoint.
The breakfasts were some of the best served up at all the b&b's we stayed at around France.
The beds were probably the weak point, but we were happy with the stay overall. It would be hard to find a friendlier host.

Great quiet village location to visit and access the WW1 memorial sites as well as Ameins.
B&B good value, clean rooms, well presented, roomy, separate en-suite.
Patricia is just delightful with a very warm friendly personality and she takes great care with your comfort, needs and breakfasts, providing home made delicious breads. The breakfast room is a lovely setting with a backdrop of colourful georgeous orchids.
Parking if off street, wifi access is available from the breakfast room which is also able to be used to access the microwave, coffee machine and crockery at other times. There is no TV or radios and there is no Coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms.
Shops and restaurants and a large supermarket are available in the nearby town of Villers Bretonneux 5 minutes drive away.

We lived our stay at Le Orchidees. It is a great location, especially if you are planning a pilgramage to the Australian Somme battle fields and memorials (as we were) and only 20 min to the centre of Amiens. Our gracious hosts were just brilliant. Warm, friendly, extremely helpful and made us feel at home. Patricia and Alain's English is excellent and their knowledge of the Somme district superb. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. We also met some other wonderful guests while we were here (something that wouldn't happen in a big hotel). We can highly commend Le Orchidees to you - we hope to get back here one day.

This was a nice B&B in a quiet town. The owners were very helpful and friendly.
WiFi reception was better in the breakfast room rather than in our room.
