“Victim of the French Revolution”

Abbatiale Saint-Pierre de Corbie
Reviewed January 30, 2018

A huge Abbey that started out in the 11th Century and was added onto over the years. The surviving Towers & small section of Church that remains today dates from 1502 but the majority of the buildings were destroyed after the Revolution , a great pity I think ? The Church today holds relics of Saints and is well worth dropping in if in Corbie.
