Myself and 2 friends stayed for 5 nights in March in a triple room. The hotel is very clean, the staff are very welcoming and the room was plenty big for 2 of us. There is a seperate shower and toilet which is handy if you are sharing. We also had a large balcony. I did not indulge in the wellness (not big on confined spaces i.e. sauna's!) but the other two raved about it. The breakfast is fantstic- lots of variety and you can load up for the day by getting all the major food groups in. There was a delicious egg hash, fresh variety of breads, cereals, jams, honeys, meats and cheeses. Fresh orange juice and fresh milk and pots of tea and coffee. I have been skiing in many places and this was the best breakfast bar none. Dinner was good too but if you are not a fan of austrian cuisine (i.e. lots of stodge like noodles and breacrumbs on things) there is a wide choice of pizza to choose from. The hotel has a bar and there is nothing like a nice cold beer after a good day on the slopes. The bus is handy but we drove and there is enough parking. The people who stay here are very chatty and fun but you won't be kept up all night with people partying. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel. Very good value for money.

Room tip: A room with a balcony is nice.

I stayed at Hotel Föhre in December 2011. I was skiing with my son in the area above Ischgl. The skibus stops very near to the hotel and takes you to Ischgl in less than 5 minutes so the car can be left in the parking lot for the entire stay. The family run Hotel Föhre is a very good choice for those who are planning to ski in Ischgl. It is a quiet and comfortable hotel with large rooms and good service which is friendly, but unobtrusive. The "Wellness Center" - including a good sauna and steambath - in the basement is a very attractive place to go to relax and loosen up the muscles after a day of skiing. We took the half-pension option (breakfast and dinner) and did not regret it: both the breakfast and the dinner menu were of high standard. This was not gourmet food but excellent quality.
