“The food was excellent quality and delicious.”
Reviewed April 19, 2012

The food was excellent quality and most important, delicious. The atmosphere was very good. The service first class made us feel valued and relaxed. A selection of wines from the village accompanies these delicious foods. The restaurant is small so you must book a place.

“MEMORABLE MEAL AT A PRICE”
Reviewed August 26, 2011

We had a memorable meal here, and the outstanding asparagus soup has set a new benchmark for us. But we felt that it was quite expensive.

“Young chef full of imagination-simply great”
Reviewed June 16, 2011

The restaurant is run by a young couple. She cooks and he waits the tables.Food is simply great-by far the best during our 2 week trip to France. In my opinion Silvie is destin to greatness in a restourant world. She has something extra that is very difficult to quantify. The atmosphere is also great -Gilles makes sure of that.

“Better Than Ever”
Reviewed March 3, 2011

We had eaten here about 6 or 7 years ago and never forgot the great meal the Sylvie made for us and the warmth of the host, Gilles, her husband. We made a special effort to come back here when we were in Alsace, France, recently and were glad we did. Our meal was wonderful. Gilles made an extra effort to describe the menu in English when we didn't understand certain words on the specials board. Since our last visit, this small, cozy restaurant has been beautifully remodeled, with lovely wood wainscoting and subdued lighting and comfortable chairs. It was a warm, special place to be on a damp, foggy wintry night in February.

“Amazing food and unbelievable value for money”
Reviewed June 6, 2010

The food was imaginative, excellent quality and most important, delicious. The atmosphere was good-full of locals-always good. The service made us feel valued and relaxed. The designof the restaurant was lovely. I was worried about the bill as we had an amazing wine after asking the owner to recommend something for us. But the bill was more than reasonable. The restaurant is only small so book. It was worth driving to so don't be put off if you aren't in the same village. YCL
