You can book this cottage through an "agency" (which is what we did) but would probably recommend booking directly. What an amazing cottage! We booked Barn Cottage so that our grown up kids (and their partners) could come and go as they please. The big bonus is that there's loads of parking (which was crucial) where as so many cottages only have parking for one car. The cottage is beautifully decorated, and comes with everything you could need and more. There's a large garden if you've got young kids, and a bbq if you get some nice weather. We've been going to Cornwall for years, but had always driven past St Mawgan. It is such a lovely village - the cottage is within a short walking distance of the centre. A fabulous pub serving great food, and the (well stocked) post office has a cafe set in lovely gardens - lost count of how many times we went. Mawgan Porth (lovely beach, surf school and deli) is literally a few minutes down the road, Watergate Bay is just slightly further, and can highly recommend Scott and Bab's for probably the best food we've ever had in Cornwall (it's quirky but worth it!). We'd highly recommend Barn Cottage.
