A wonderful day, patchwork with like minded ladies, and a lovely lunch with scones to die for.
Can't praise the Manor Farm Tea Shoppe enough. Thanks to all the team.

“Home Cooking at its best”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

One of the finest tea shops we have ever visited.Caroline and Staff are inviting and the home made soups, cakes, pies and cakes are truly exceptional. If you visit in winter, warm yourself by the log burner or in summer sun yourself in the spacious gardens, you will just have to keep coming back. Your never quite sure if you have eaten the best thing on the menu. Im always looking at my Husbands plate with envy ! Fantastic !

“Super food, great service”
Reviewed December 14, 2012

A lovely place to have lunch. The food is always excellent and served by the friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. Home-made quiche lovely; jacket potato perfectly cooked - clearly done the traditional way; salad served with their own recipe vinaigrette (which is delicious).

We like the fact that you can choose from a variety of teas served in a pot, with extra water - "just ask if you want more water or milk". As for the cakes, they are wonderful. Again, a great choice of varieties - coffee and walnut is a favourite of ours - and the portions are not small. No problem if you want to share one between two.

We've been visiting for some years now; never been disappointed. On a wet winter's day there was plenty of room, but we are always prepared to wait if need be.

“A GEM”
Reviewed March 16, 2012

I moved to Southwell recently and had this tea room recommended, as an Oasis for walkers. The menu was plentiful.I had noticed an Apricot steam pudding, which turned out to very generous in size, complemented with extra custard.I had a smaller size of Mushroom omelette with salad, this also was generous.Cost with coffee £9.60.
It also possible to buy Spelt flour which I recommend for baking loaves, there were other flours including non gluten.
The staff were very friendly and the toilet I saw very clean.
Bleasby Railway Station is only about 200 yards away,it is on the Lincoln to Nottingham line
