Yes food is good. Rooms are clean. All the " normal " things you want from a hotel are at least as good as you can expect from a good hotel.
What really makes this Place so nice is that the staff and specially the owners makes you feel at home. It's a friendly and relaxed place. It's a Place you like to return to

We stayed for the second time with our children during the Christmas holidays at the Le Rocher and we had a lovely time. The family room is rather big and comfortable. The hotel is in a lovely location hidden in the woods but still very close to the gondola/ski lift. Food is very good and hosts and staff are very kind and friendly. The hotel is definitely very family friendly and would definitely recommend it.

Le Rocher is a little gem. The owners Lotta and Gullio go that extra mile to make sure your stay is extra special and Fulvia on reception is exceptional. Fabulous location, great food and good size rooms. Lovely sitting areas by the fire with rustic bar. Sauna and steam rooms, heated boot room and free wifi. Champoluc is a hidden gem for skiers, plenty of runs for all levels. Free mini bus to the ski lifts. A lovely walk to the village, especially pretty at night as the path is lit by ground level lights all the way, magical.

Room Tip: All the rooms are a particularly good size for a skiing hotel but the suites are fabulous, large master bedroom plus second bedroom/sitting room, perfect for families. Small balcony.

Stayed here for lads trip, 4 days skiing. A great wee resort, pistes were very quiet and no queues. Hotel is about 1 km from town. We received a warm welcome from the owners and staff were all friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but basic. Single beds are quite small but comfortable. Half board was good value. Large continental breakfast selection with bacon, sausage and scrabbled eggs. Dinner offered a good variety. Hotel has free wifi, and a good spa area with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room.

My wife and I stayed this March 2014 in the Le Rocher for a weeks skiing . I cannot recommend it enough for a totally relaxing experience with superb food and great hosts and staff who were all so friendly and where nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic 'wellness' centre with sauna, stream room and jacuzzi to eae away the sore muscles!

Champoluc is a great place to ski if you want quiet pistes and great, good value, coffee stops at half the price of French resorts!

We cannot wait to visit again.
