My students from Singapore and I had another wonderful and educational visit to Inle Heritage. We learnt a great deal about the local culture and environment from the staff. The food was always excellent (and the staff went out of their way to make sure we ate breakfast before we went exploring). The staff are truly inspiring. A special thank you goes to Akmyat, Kyaw, Ko Thar Nge, and Kyar ... and Ms. Carrie (English Instructor)!

We spent 4 wonderful days in the Inle Heritage Hotel and sincerely enjoyed every single minute, it's probably one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed at. It's so much more than just a hotel; they try to preserve the lake's cultural heritage, breed burmese cats, ... and not to forget the amazing staff.

A place with most welcomed staffs and training students! Good view and clean room, very worth the price. We stayed one night with a dinner in the restaurant, there are a lot of choice on their menu! They have lovely Burmese cats too, they take good care of them.
We received a staffs greetings card after we went to dinner for an hour, they packed our room and prepare our bed that is amazing and very warm ;)
Thank you for all staffs for their caring and let us have a enjoyable stay in Inle lake !

What a wonderful time my family just had this week staying at this environmentally responsible and beautiful place. Our rooms were spacious, beautiful and comfortable. We ate fantastic meals, all supplied on the site with their own gardens and fish. We went on a day trips to the lake villages where we shopped and experienced the local culture. We took a cooking class on site which I highly recommend. There is a Burmese cat sanctuary on site and an aquarium. The staff is warm and professional. Lovely place! It is as nice as anywhere I have ever stayed.

The hotel has only a few rooms, individual houses on stilts, overlooking the water. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated.

Hotel and restaurant are part of the not-for-profit Inle Heritage Foundation, preserving culture and traditions in the Inle Lake area. Part of that is education. The students of the on-site vocational training school, guided by their teachers, are always smiling and keen to provide excellent service. Chef Naing Win and his team prepare delicious food. Among my favorites are the banana flower salad, steamed spring onions and steamed fish or chicken with coconut milk. In the shop I found beautiful things to take back home and Chaw Su told me about the social enterprises where all these authentic items are handmade.

As another reviewer noted, motorboats pass by during the day. I felt in no way disturbed by the noise, this is part of the life on the lake and well, to make an excursion, one takes a boat:)
