Come for the bar and restaurant, to use the beachfront or rent equipment-- but sleep somewhere else...
Stayed here after going to Oasis and learning it was full.
At first sight--was pleased by the bar, decent sounding menu, and abundance of beachside chairs + tables, hammocks etc.
However- I stayed in a $6 dorm- which had lumpy, flimsy foam beds, was hot and stuffy, and had a nasty, moldy, very old and non-functioning air conditioner--which looked a bit like it was producing poisonous air. No towels are included.
The bathrooms, a bit far from the room, were a bit dingy and the sink never had soap. The wifi costs $2 a day to use and never really worked too well. The bar only sells overpriced small bottles of water and offers no sort of refill service.
The breakfast, however, was decent tasting, large and cheap. I also got chicken tacos, which though decent, were strange and the meat didnt seem to closely resemble chicken. The cocktails, smoothies, juices and coffee drinks aren't bad.More
