Wish I had gone with my gut on this one. $25 for a "bungalow" which is a private room facing the beach. The room was awful. Dead bugs on the bed, janky door, missing shower head (water when it finally came out trickled down), no toilet paper and just overall a dirty, run down feeling.
The staff was anything but helpful and definitely not friendly. We asked to bring a couple of their nicer lounge chairs to the beach, and instead of assisting us in any way they laughed while I struggled to fold and move the chair...mind you we were the ONLY people there.
The rip tide here is too strong for swimming so unless your surfing there is not much going on.
Had we negotiated the price a bit (10 bucks is what its worth for a private room, if that) we wouldn't have felt so ripped off. I work in tourism and as a realist, realize I am in Nicaragua where the customer in rarely right, but this place just sucks.More
