We have just returned from a 10 day stay at Muri Beach Club and we absolutely loved it. The rooms were modern and spacious. The view was lovely. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant quite a bit and we enjoyed all of our meals.Happy hour by the pool with a beer and a cocktail became the routine for us. Location wise it was perfect, on Muri lagoon strip but a little apart so it was quite peaceful. We would recommend this resort to anyone and we will certainly stay there again should we get back to the Cook Islands.

Room Tip: All rooms had either garden, pool or ocean views. The pool view room that we had was great. Being a...

My husband and I planned our holiday at the conclusion of a very difficult 18 months. We needed a break in an environment that would force us to relax and unwind and where we could just focus on being together.
Muri Beach Club Hotel provided an excellent home away from home. The hotel is beautiful, fresh, clean and bright. From the moment we walked in we felt welcomed, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the setting is pure magic.
We enjoyed a lovely tropical breakfast each morning that included hot food which we were not expecting, so we ate breakfast like a King, with a light lunch and dinner. It was so warm that we enjoyed drinking the lovely fruit smoothies infused with the lovely fruits available on the island.
The staff were each outstanding from the front desk to the restaurant to the lovely ladies that took care of our room. Even the maintenance man was lovely.
Our stay at this hotel was beyond our expectations. We were upgraded to a beach front unit where we could watch the sun come up each morning overlooking the lagoon. We will certainly be going back.
This holiday ticked all of our boxes and added trimmings that we had not expected.
We felt very blessed and would recommend this to anyone.

Absolutely fantastic place to have get married or have a holiday!! (we will highlight both).

The main reason for our stay was to get married. We were initially hesitant about having a wedding all the way in Rarotonga (we live in NZ) but it was a lot easier than we thought and all our expectations were met or exceeded. We were provided with a fantastic wedding coordinator who made life so easy for us, very efficient with correspondence and taking care of all of the small details for us. The prices for the wedding packages are very reasonable and easy to tailor these to your exact needs. We had a party of 60 people and everyone had a great time. We had our wedding on the small island across the lagoon from the hotel. Everything was well set up for us and looked beautiful. Our reception was in a large marquee in front of the hotel. This also looked stunning - excellent food and entertainment options available. Our wedding photographer provided also exceeded our expectations. We were very lucky with the weather, however there is a great 'plan b' if the weather gods are not happy. The reception can take place upstairs above there restaurant in a large spacious room that looks out across the lagoon and pool (very beautiful and reassuring to know this is there). The reception would be in the restaurant, also very nice. Luckily this happens very rarely in only terrible weather conditions. We were also able to arrange a brunch for all our guests in the marquee the morning after the wedding. As part of our wedding package we also got some very nice extras which included a private dinner and breakfast on our deck and wedding gifts. We also received some bubbly and his/her massages as part of our accommodation deal. Overall it was the perfect wedding experience for us and we would recommend it to anyone.

In terms of having a holiday we think this place is great. My partner and I are in our mid 20s and stayed there for 8 nights. The resort itself is white, crisp, modern and very clean. We were upgraded to a beach front room which was great (although the pool view rooms would also be nice too). Amazing beach access and views to die for (we would recommend the ground floor on the left side of the resort for best views and access). The room was very spacious with a king sized bed. Very quiet at night and a peaceful sleep. The resort is also adults only which is nice for a newly married couple! The staff throughout the resort are very friendly and generally go above and beyond (especially the reception staff and a number of the restaurant staff). We were happy with the quality of the food at the restaurant, great complimentary breakfast and top quality dinner options.

We will definitely be back and cannot say a single bad thing about the place.

This hotel is in the most beautiful location, one of the best on the Island. Sadly that is where the charm ends. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Unfortunately the restaurant lets the hotel down. This is a 4+* hotel and the food is terrible. Hot food is placed on top of the food that has been sat in containers for ages at breakfast. The cooking oil smells where it hasnt been changed, and the food is not good. We ate in the restaurant once and wouldnt eat there again as did most people who were staying there at the same time as us. To top everything we had to be out of the rooms at 10.am, and if we required a shower before leaving for the airport we had to pay another $10 each, just a rip.

We stayed here recently for 8 days and thoroughly recommend!!!
The hotel is very clean, excellent service and good security too.
We were upgraded to a beachfront view room ( internet special) and it was wonderful being able to look out over the lagoon.
A fresh tropical fruit drink on arrival and free massages each...Nice
The large pool area is very sheltered and each day we would enjoy happy hour here (cocktails for me). We liked the food here after a few disappointing experiences elsewhere. Grill night and pub night are VERY good value for money!! And good food.
The breakfasts provided for the guests each morning are just perfect.Always fresh fruits ( we had pawpaws )
I found all the staff great and very helpful and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: Book via the internet and get the specials offered.

We had a pleasant stay at the Muri Beach Club Hotel. It is a small, sleepy resort on the south side of the island. The front desk people were the best. They went above the call of duty to help us out. Making dinner reservations for us, opening the gift shop after hours so we could get some snacks, getting the car rental place to rent us a car even after they were closed for the day. Kudos to them. On the downside, the breakfast that was included with the price of the room was not that good. Watery orange juice, egg surprise (when it was even there) the same yogurt and fruit every day. The restaurant was poorly decorated and uninviting. Besides the breakfast, we rarely saw anyone eating there through out the day. The "Bar" consisted of about 6 wooden chairs facing away from the beach. The only thing going for the place was the view - why not exploit it? There was no drink service around the sparse guests at the pool. No complaints about the room. It was nice, clean and a great shower. Nice but not spectacular. If you are looking for a place to just sleep at night, this is an ok place. If you expect to spend most of your time at the hotel go elsewhere.
