What an amazing show that captures the many traditional dances of the cook islands through the tale of a historical settlement of one of the chiefs who came to Rarotonga. This is a must see event should you visit the beautiful shores of Rarotonga it will take your breath away and you will not be disappointed. The food you share is a mixture of popular local foods as well as other cultures infamous cuisine such as sushi and fried rice. Te Vara Nui is 100% locally owned and throughout the show you are able to meet the matriarch of the family Mama Vara, an inspirational woman whom allows you to come along and share the journey of her people. I highly recommend this and would definitely return upon my next visit back to Rarotonga. :-)
