We had a great night out, they really want to share their culture with you, the dancers are just enviably amazing and the buffet..what should I start with?! Awesome!

The show was awesome, but we ate our dinner at a high bar like table which was very uncomfortable for us short people. Luckily we were told first to sit on the edge by the water for the show or we would not have seen anything. The food was great and the service lovely. The dances very very talented and as stated it was a great show.

Te Vara Nui's dance show was good and so was the landscaping of the village.
We were also advised by the speaker from Te Vara Nui That we were going to experience the food and culture of Rarotonga.
Instead we were greeted by a variety of asian hostesses at our table with poor english and poor serving skills. (This did not impress me one bit)!!
Top it all off the food was not what we expected to have ie: pasta, sushi, potatoe scallops, lasagne.
This food is what I get in NZ so I am not sure which of these dishes represent cook island food. I think the only cook island dish that comes to my mind was the Ika Mata which was tasteless and really quite horrible.
(Not a great experience on the food and hostesses serving at the tables at Te Vara Nui).

The over water island night was absolutely fantastic. The dancers were awesome, the food was (different) but tasty and the show was thoroughly enjoyed by the whole family.
