“Entertaining, educational & best snorkelling”
Reviewed August 1, 2011

The snorkelling spot was fantastic, even though we had quite a windy day. My only suggestion would be to take your own set of fins as these are not supplied with your mask & snorkel. The lunch was beautifully fresh and well presented. The coconut show was great, so much to learn about the humble nut. Our guides were fantastic & helpful and have great singing voices, can dance and play the ukelele all at the same time! This trip is a must for every visitor to enjoy.

“Fantastic Value, Great Day Trip”
Reviewed July 29, 2011

My wife and I had a great day's outing on the Koka Lagoon Cruise. We took our 13 year old nephew as well and he had great time too. Our pick up from our accommodation was right on appointed time.

From the outset we were entertained and informed from the journey's beginning through to the journey's end. The guides and skipper were enthusiastically committed to their duties and included everyone in the activities of the cruise. There was no down time on the trip. Sailing to our snorkelling spot we were given flax weaving and pareu tyining demonstrations, as well as a vibrant sing a long with the ukeleles. Guests were welcome to join in by drumming the "pate".

The snorkelling was carried out safely and everyone given the opportunity to view tropical fish in their natural environment. Mid journey we stopped off at a small island and were served a bountiful and very healthy sea food BBQ. Following this, there was an informative presentation about the uses and life cycle of the coconut plant.

The day's outing started at 9.00am and went through to about 3.00pm. I consider this whole experience was great value for money. The whole company of Koka Lagoon Cruises are great ambassadors for tourism and hospitality in the Cook Islands.

The up-front ticket for the attraction covered everything including the BBQ. There were no hidden extras.

“great day out”
Reviewed July 23, 2011

We chose Koka over the other offering, based on the advertisements for each and we were not disappointed. It was a great day out for us and our teenaged son. Very good value, lots of fun and entertainment from the guys and the barbecued fish was probably my best meal on the island. Snorkelling was good including side trip to see their pet moray eel. Highly recommended. Suggest that you take your own fins for the snorkelling as they don't supply. Masks and snorkels only supplied.

“Marvellous, family friendly boat tour - an absolute MUST DO!”
Reviewed July 6, 2011

This lagoon boat cruise was a wedding gift and what a trip indeed! You can't visit the island without taking this tour - it gives you another perspective of the island when viewed from the lagoon. The crew were brilliant and very accommodating of small children on board. One of them even held my five month old son so I could go for a snorkel!

The cruise was relaxing, informative and entertaining both on board the boat and on the motu. The food was authentic and delicious. Don't miss out on experiencing the best lagoon boat cruise the island has to offer. Highly recommended from this family in Dubai!
