Owner description: Wingham Wildlife Park is set within 26 acres in which we display over 200 different species... That is more than any other zoo in Kent! Including some species not seen anywhere else in zoos in the UK, Europe and even the world! As well as the all important animal collection we have 2 large play areas (both indoors and outdoors, making them fun all year), 2 restaurants (although one may be shut in the winter season) and a wide variety of animal talks, encounters and experiences!

Great place to visit, good views of the animals, clean and well kept. Especially enjoyed walking in the Ring Tailed Lima enclosure and feeding the Meerkats

Dear Kevin B,

Thank you very much for your review, we are really glad you enjoyed your day. There is a very wide variety of animals and activities which are popular with our visitors but 2 of the most common ones to crop up are being able to get so close to the lemurs in our walk through enclosure and being able to feed the Meerkats.

One of the things which we pride ourselves on is the ability for you to be able to see and enjoy the animals, and that all of our animals are still happy and secure at all times.

Many thanks

I took my 5 year old son here back in august.

Quite easy to find, not the cheapest considering we had a picnic played in the fun area, but struggled to keep ourselves entertained over 3 hours

The highlight was the chance to actually touch stroke etc the animals at the eduacation centre with a very knowledgable keeper and patient to keep over twenty kids entertained.
Well Done!!!

IT does feel like your walking around someones private collection in a very large back garden

the Penguin feeding was a bit of a scrum and was really dificult to get my son into any sort of position to see anything.

However if the kids love animals and youve got a morning or afternoon spare then give it a go!

Also felt there could be some more seating areas away from the parks Food outlets for people that bring there own picnics and do not want to purchase the EXPENSIVE in house food

“Farm park with tigers”
Reviewed October 17, 2012

This is a small farm park/ zoo which has recently added the tiger cubs as an extra pull. If you want a zoo day go to Port Lymphe/ Howletts. But for cheaper day out with the family I'm sure this would suffice

“Has improved so much!”
Reviewed October 12, 2012

When i last visited there was half as much to see. So nice that the park has been improved and that there is more to see. Much more interactive and the children i was accompanying loved it here.

We went with my niece and nephew on Saturday. We got there shortly after it opened, I would recommend getting there early as the wallabies were more approachable and my niece instantly fell in love with them. They were roaming free around the park.

There was a good range of animals, the keeper who gave the talk/feeding of the Otters was very informative and friendly.

We had sausage in baguette, would certainly recommend it, but there were lots of places to eat, if you brought your own lunch.

It is very good value for money, a full day experience. My niece fell fast asleep as soon as we got back home.

Planning our next visit soon.
