Jirangonno Fuji no Yakata

Good place to take a rest and experience a japanese onsen. Unfortunately the open air part of the onsen was closed due to a taifun that hit the area the night before. The rooms were nice, clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was far the best we had on our Japan tour. Close to Fuji-san.

I reached this hotel at night around 06.30 PM with a group. The hotel looks old out fashion, still using key for the door. The hotel room is small with separated tiny shower room & closet. The scenic view is green as I can see forest from the windows. Dinner & lunch were good, a various of food can be chosen. There is no available store near hotel or money changer. Better you bring cash money if we want to purchase some souvenirs in hotel. The receptionist could not speak English so better if you can speak Japanese. The onzen is quite small only suitable for 8 people.

We came on a tour group and were given 2 rooms. The kids room had a tatami which was a great experience for them.
The hot spring bath was also nice, clean and well maintained. The outdoor pool was a nice change as it was nice to soak under the stars after dinner...
Dinner buffet was quite adequate, breakfast spread was not too bad too.
The place is surrounded by trees and has a nice serenity to it with Mt. Fuji in the background..
Took some very nice and clear pictures of the submit from our rooms too...

I came here in a big group (50 people) but this. hotel seems very quite. It more fits as a hotel for couple since the ambiance is very quite and far from anything. There are no convenience store or whatsoever stores around.

Rooms rather small, just like any other hotel in Japan, with separated tiny shower room and toilet. The food quality and restaurant is just average. But our group enjoy the dinner with Yukata (Japanese traditional kimono) very much.

Guests can also enjoy their free onsen by gender. If you need a cheap massage, right in front of the onsen there are several massage chair that cost 100 yen for 10 minutes.

In the morning hotel surroundings came to life and look beautiful. For me personally I would chose this hotel if I'm on a romantic holiday. And they need to refresh their interior with new stuff. Other than that so far I'm okay with the experience.

Pleasant and clean, but needs retrofitting in every aspect. Key to unlock the room in tatami style with open terrace. The whole place is surrounded with greenery. Both indoor/outdoor Onsen is small. Buffet dinner has good spread of BBQ, sushi, udon/soba, pastries, etc. Breakfast is ok.

I went there last week and it's such a great place to stay. My first onsen experience pretty good, because there's not much people when I took bath so I can relax. The food are also delicious and various for breakfast. The room has a terrace, so my father who is a smoker can smoke outside without disturbing my mom. Each room featured a mosquito wired door, so if you want to feel the breeze at night you can open the door that connecting to terrace without fighting with mosquitoes x)
