We spent 2 nights here in the Japanese room. The hotel may be a little old but the rooms are spacious and clean. Surprisingly we had great night sleep which I thought it might not be comfortable to sleep on the tatami. The food are great and ooshii as we chosen the gourmet plan. The service was so heart-warming. Everything went smoothly when we approached the tourist counter at Lake Kawaguchiko station. The luggages were left there and delivered to the hotel where we left for our sightseeing. Upon our return, there is a courtesy pickup to the hotel. Our room has three quarter view of the Mt Fuji but is good enough. It is magnificent especially in Autumn. Thumbs up for the staff who are so thoughtful and we enjoyed the hospitality of the hotel. The fact they don't speak much English.
