We enjoyed our stay here. We booked a Japanese style room and had an incredible view. Room 207 is very spacious and has a great view of Mount Fuji. We are not accustomed to traditional Japanese food so the food was a little underwhelming for us. Just not to our taste but was presented beautifully. Easy to park with a car. One of the best views right across the street for pictures. Onsen was nice too! No coffee machine in room/lobby. “Best new day” coffee place nearby was good with a view as well. Overall experience here was great! Couldn’t imagine a better view of Mount Fuji from another onsen.

We stayed in a room with an outdoor bath, and it was truly an amazing experience to enjoy a hot spring bath while enjoying the gorgeous view of Mt Fuji and Kawaguchi lake in the privacy of your own room! The hotel has a public onsen bath too. Which was smaller than I expected but still very nice and well equipped. But I preferred to use the bath in our room. If you decide to stay in this hotel, I highly recommend you to book the room with the outdoor bath. The room came with a 2 double beds and futons to fit 4 people in the room. The room was Japanese style with tatami, spacious, clean and well equipped. I could tell great thought was put into making the guests stay as comfortable as possible. The dinner was amazing too, delicious and fresh seafood! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

We were lucky to arrive on a day in which Fuji was crystal clear for us. The rooms all face Fuji and so does the Onsen. The hotel has a policy to ask those with tattoos not to enter the Onsen so unless you have one in your room, (not sure if that is offered here) you may not get to experience the hot spring baths.

The hotel is extremely clean and the staff are equally as polite. The view is amazing when Fuji is visible and the food was delicious. We had dinner and breakfast which were both very traditional Japanese. The dinner was a lot better for me as breakfast was very different from what I was used to as I’d never had a Japanese breakfast.

Overall, we had an extremely excellent time and I would highly recommend this hotel for people looking to have a traditional relaxing time in the Fuji five lakes area and suggest more than 2 days in case Fuji is behind the clouds for part of your stay. It would be a shame to get out here only to have Fuji be nowhere in sight.

The lake was quite beautiful and uplifting. I don’t wanna miss out the breathtaking panoramic view of Mt. Fuji. Get out there and enjoy to the maximum. Don’t miss this golden opportunity to stroll around the lakeside of Kawaguchiko ! Absolutely Stunning!!!
