This caters for big tour busses. Buffett dinner and breakfast. Food was way below average. Managed to find something eatable for dinner, very sad to say not the same for breakfast. Has to survive on coffee. Didn’t even have bread to make toast. Would not recommend. Only good feature was the lake across the road.

Our room type was for 3 people and i didn't let us down. We got in a traditional room type. The weather was a bit chilly and rainy, this was a nice condition to have an Onsen shower. Inside this hotel, there're 2 Onsen rooms for male and female. The restaurant served by buffet.

Stayed here as part of tour, very nice location.
We had group buffet dinner. They seemed to be totally disorganised. There not enough food for everyone and several of our group ended up with uncooked chicken.
Breakfast was disappointing also. Small rooms with extremely hard futon beds. Tiny bathroom.
For the first time in Japan the room was not cleaned well. Dust was covering the lamp and table top.
Yes it is a good view and gives you a chance for an authentic spa experience, but it was substandard.

The hotel was set in a beautiful forest area on the banks of Lake Motosuku It is a Japanese Spa Hotel (onsen) in the most traditional sense.....no clothes are allowed. Men and women go to different areas. It was disappointing that we couldn't go to the onsen as my husband and I each have a tattoo which is disallowed. The hotel rooms are quite large because they include a tatami area which is quite cool. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the buffet provided on each occasion was most satisfactory. When our bus tour left the hotel the staff came outside to wave goodbye. Very sweet touch.

The main point of staying in this hotel is to try traditional Japanese Spa. No clothes are aloud and you must clean yourself first before going into the pool. There is three pools - indoor cold, indoor 40 and outdoor 43 degrees. Good clean and modern facilities throughout the hotel. Rooms are hugh in Japanese standards with tatami, bathroom is modern with all the necessary toiletries available. Breakfast is good.
