The hotel is quite new, it is nice, clean and has comfortable rooms, but with very thin walls, so you may hear your neighbours. The breakfast is very good, you get free Wi-Fi. The hotel is situated near the motorway but when you close the windows you can’t hear the noise from outside. There is a petrol station nearby. I would stay there again.

Before I start, lets be very clear on what type of hotel this is. It is a hotel situated on a motorway service station on the Brussels ring road. Perfect if you are travelling by car and need a stop over outside the city centre. Not suitable for those on a city break and want to be within walking distance from the centre (in fact, you are likely to be arrested if you tried to walk into the centre as it really is on a motorway...)

From the outside, the hotel has a lot going for it. It is very new, it is nicely decorated, all rooms have aircon, parking is free, it is within a 10 / 15 minute drive from the centre, there is a nice bar (with snacks), staff are friendly and breakfast was a reasonable price / quality.

Unfortunately the hotel can be very noisy. Not from the motorway traffic as you would expect (although you can hear a low traffic hum in the rooms facing the motor) but from the room doors. Unfortunately the doors tend to slam shut, and in the morning, it can sound like you are in prison as you constantly hear the slamming of doors (made worse by the fact that the hotel is used as a coach stop so you will have big groups going for breakfast and slamming doors…)

The only other negative was finding the hotel as neither Satnav or Google maps managed to provide the correct directions. The correct direction ARE stated very clearly on the order confirmation from the hotel but I was stupid enough not to read this (fool me) so wasted 20 minutes trying to find the hotel.

This hotel is perfect if you are driving through Europe, need a stop over near Brussels and you are a heavy sleeper (or you are position in a corner of the hotel. Or willing to wake up before the coach parties do).

Room Tip: Corner rooms facing the carpark are best for a quieter sleep.

You will need a car to reach this one as is it located right on the motorway. If you don't want to drive in to the centre of Brussels you can drive to the nearby town of Ruisbroek and catch a train. It will take you to central station in 10 minutes, but only leaves once an hour on the weekends and the last one back is at 10.30pm.
The hotel itself is nice, clean and comfortable rooms, but with very thin walls, so you might be forced to listen in on your neighbors romantic weekend as we were....
