We walked up from the carpark and enjoyed some stunning views.
Once in the castle we first walked around by ourselves with a map of the lay out of the castle. When the crowd was minimized we took the audioguided tour, which was fantastic. We also watched the birds of prey show, which was very interesting. And yes the castle was was the Castle of Eagles in the movie with Clint Eastwood "Where Eagles Dare". There was a nice videofilm about backstage of the movie. From the castle look outs there are some stunning views over the Eastern Alps.
